Women’s Empowerment Promotional Video Contest

GUIDELINES AND MECHANCS for the Women’s Empowerment Promotional Video Contest 1. ELIGIBILITY 1.1 The contest is open to all College of Science and Education students who are interested in video-making. 1.2 Entry can be as an individual or a team (maximum of 3 members). 1.3 One individual/team can only submit ONE entry. 1.4 One person can only participate in ONE team. 2. THEME The promotional video must revolve in the theme: “We Make Change for Women”. It is to highlight the empowerment of women as active contributors to and claimholders of development. 3. FORMAT 3.1 Videos can be in Filipino and/or English. 3.2 Videos that are not in English must have English subtitles. 3.3 Video should be between 2 to 3 minutes in length. Videos that are not in between of the length of the mentioned will be disqualified. 3.4 All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. 3.5 Videos can be shooting in your home area. (No need to go somewhere else to shoot your video).

SUBMISSION 4.1 The deadline of submission is on March 14, 2022. 4.2 Each entry must submit to [email protected] with the following format: For Laptop/Desktop User 5. IMPORTANT DATES March 14, 2022: Deadline of submission March 25, 2022: Announcement of Winners 6. EVALUATION CRITERIAS Criteria Corresponding Points Content of the Video (in line with the theme as 20 points stated above) Creativity of the Video 20 points Accuracy of Information 15 points Originality and Entertainment Value 15 points Effectiveness in Reaching the Audience 15 points Overall Quality of the Video 15 points 100 points Total 7. EVALUATION AND SELECTION OF WINNERS 7.1 Entries will be judged by the board of judges selected by COSESCO. 7.2 The winners will be announced on during the Closing Program of Women’s Month Celebration to be held on March 25, 2022.

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATION The video must not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, libellous, pornographic, and offensive or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence or violates any law. Videos must be appropriate for viewing by the general public and by multi-cultural international community. By submitting a video, individuals/teams agree to allow COSESCO to use their video for advertising, promotion, information and education purposes, at no cost. COSESCO reserve the right to publicized and promote the video for their own purposes. All work will be given credit to the creators. The winning video submissions may be branded and posted in the College of Science and Education Student Council Official Facebook Page and be branded with the COSESCO logo at the discretion of COSESCO. The 1st Place to 3rd Place winners will work and collaborate with the COSESCO to make a video promoting the College of Science and Education for College Admission. COSESCO do not assume responsibility or liability for any video or portion thereof, or for any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use or dissemination of any video submitted in this contest. The judges’ decision is final. Participants agree to be bound by the official contest rules, guidelines, and decisions of the judges.
