PREFACE Whether you are in the state of Dhikr or Dua, you will find it to be one of the most gratifying and fulfilling moments of your life. Hence the need to Master the art of constantly feeding our soul with Dhikr and constantly offering Dua by whispering sincerely to the master of the throne. Our ultimate goal is to constantly work on our closeness to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala (SWT) and our sincerity of devotion as worshippers. Mastering the art of worship and devotion to almighty Allah (SWT) is a journey of eternal bliss. In Surah Adh-Dhariyat, verse 56 it says “ I did not create jinn and humans except to worship me” therefore we need to fulfill our essence of being created. Having my customized collection of Dhikr and Duas compiled in one book has been a dream of a lifetime. A better and bigger goal is being able to share this book with everyone as we continue to sow many ways in which we can accumulate reward from Almighty Allah. Therefore, as we continue to strive for Jannah through pleasing Allah (SWT) in our way of life and the way we worship, mastering the art of choosing the right words to call on the Almighty is divine. 2
This book was my Ramadan project for 2018, as it was the perfect opportunity to devote myself to this important endeavor during the Holy Month. My desperation for a way to do something, anything, to earn extra rewards during the blessed month motivated me to completely focus on finishing the compilation of this long term project. I am grateful to the Almighty for completely guiding my thoughts and energy towards this book. In no order of priority are easy steps and deeds that if done, will be highly rewarding and help us feel more fulfilled and connected to our Rabb. While there are many existing written articles and versions of Dua books by various people (may Allah reward them), I have ensured to not only collate my favorite Dua’s but do it in a way that you can easily immerse yourself in the remembrance of Allah. This is in no particular order nor is it comprehensive but the journey of reading and compiling this has been so encouraging, enlightening, and enriching. I sincerely pray that you all find it beneficial to your soul. This book is also available as a free PDF download from www.thethronewhisphers.com and also a free app available to use for your daily Dhkir. 3

Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you read the Throne Whispers: 1. Seek for understanding and strive for sincerity in offering Dhikr and Dua. Ask Allah to help you to remember Him, and to do these good deeds for His Sake alone. 2.Be Intentional about your Dua and Dhikr. As an example, if you're counting Dhikr, it's quite possible (probably, if you have kids) to lose count. As frustrating as that can be, it's important to remember that Allah is the Most Merciful and He will reward you for your intention In Sha Allah. 3. Have a Goal when you set out to offer your daily Dhikr. You can make your goal as small and as big as you want it. It helps by choosing at least 5 types of Dhikr to go over for that day and give yourself a specific number you hope to achieve within a specific hour or before you go to bed. 4. Every Little Act Counts; Pay attention to maximize your precious time. Especially those moments in which you are not as occupied; such as when you are in transit or while you are traveling or while you are idle perhaps doing something that does not need your full concentration. All these pockets of time should be utilized effectively. 9
5. Consistency is Key: Try to have a pattern and make it into a routine. As they say “practice makes perfect”. You cannot achieve your goal within seconds; it's one day at a time. You can use this Dua book as a guide towards improving your daily worship. There are various duas within it that you can take once a day and understand the meaning. 6. Challenge yourself: You are capable of achieving great things and becoming the best version of yourself. Therefore, you can push yourself to do more acts of worship. Once you see yourself making progress, you can challenge yourself to take on more and do more. Try to also challenge those around you and make it fun; quiz each other on your daily Dhikr and Dua’s. 7. Teach others: When we teach others it also helps us remember what we have learned. As soon as youve understood and mastered a Dua, Dhikr or a verse from the Quran, try to teach a fellow muslim brother or sister and ecnourage them to practice. The prophet (PBUH) said “ the best of you is who learns the Quran and teaches it” (Al-Bukhari) 8. Enjoy: Most importantly, enjoy yourself. Try not to think of acts of worship as chores or it will feel as such. You must know the reason you are doing it and what you hope to achieve from it. Make it a way of life and it will feel very natural to you. **Please note: The Arabic, transliteration and translation of each dua and hadith have been taken from various work such as the 'Fortress of the Muslim', Sunnah.com etc**. 10
The Throne Whispers encompasses and captures 5 powerful themes; I can wholeheartedly say these are what I live my life by. As long as you embed them into your life, you will surely see the positive impact. 11
FAITH Imaan : Faith. It is no mistake that I was given this name because I can confidently tell you that living my life having complete faith in Allah has brought me where I am today. Having absolute faith in its totality comes with a lot of clarity. In hardship and in ease, we all need to have faith that Allah (SWT) will provide us with the best outcome. Throughout my life, I have made sure to build upon my faith every step of the way. In Surah Al-Anfal, verse 28 it says “And know that your wealth and your children are only a test and that with Allah is a great reward” Allah will continue to test his believers to see who remains faithful, who remains hopeful and who remains patient. I am faithful. I am faithful. I am faithful. It’s normal for our faith (Imaan) to fluctuate because even the Prophet PBUH struggled with that at some point, however it is our responsibility to work towards Improving it anytime we feel it has decreased. Continue to make Dua and Dhikr because everyone experiences low and high levels of Imaan, but Allah is the most merciful. Surround yourself with positive and good company in these times to ensure that they encourage you to stay steadfast. 12
When you experience a low level of Imaan, there are various ways you can strengthen it. Firstly, you can make it a habit to read your Quran to actively strengthen your connection with Allah. Even if you choose to read just 1 ayah a day and know the meaning, it is more than enough. By pondering on the ayahs it gives you time to reflect and appreciate the mercy of Allah. Additionally, try to perform your five daily prayers to maintain and strengthen your Imaan. Concentrate while praying and pour your heart out to the Almighty. Only he alone can come to your aid so trust in Him and submit all your affairs to him. 13
BELIEF َأْش َه ُد َأْن اَل ِإَٰلَه ِإاَّل ٱلَّٰلُه َوَأْش َه ُد َأَّن ُم َحَّم ًدا َرُس وُل ٱلَّٰلِه Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadarrasulullah I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Belief is paramount in Islam. As Muslims we have a set of beliefs that govern and guide us, such as the belief in Allah, the belief in the prophet (SAW), the belief in the holy Quran, belief in the warnings of the dunya, belief in the day of judgment, belief of the angels, belief in the hereafter, belief in Jannah, belief in Jahannam. Once we believe in the aforementioned beliefs, it makes it easier to have a sense of belonging and direction, to know you have an ever Loving God that loves you know matter what. The beliefs are there to grant you utmost peace and contentment. 14
HOPE Whenever we need and want to feel hopeful, We must always remember that Allah (SWT) mercy is greater than anything in this entire world. To be Honest we will want to hold on to hope in our heart and never lose it, for absolute hope in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is what keeps the heart at ease and keeps us going. Sometimes as Humans, we find it very hard to hold on to hope. When life takes a hit, it is very easy for us to lose focus and become hopeless. However, when we find ourselves in that state, we must remember that no matter what happens, IT CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BEAT THE MERCY OF ALLA! In Surat Ash-Shar verse 5 (Quran 94:5) it says “For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.” subsequently the following verse again says “Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.”. These two ayahs alone give us hope that indeed Allah does not burden a soul with more than it can handle. Nothing bad in our lives can overtake Allah's Mercy. That is the thing with hope, Allah is the heart of hope, and when hope is buried deep in our hearts, We can only find Allah there. 15
TRUST In Surah Al-Ma’idah verse 23 it says ‘Put your trust in Allah if you are ˹truly˺ believers’ (Quran 23:5). Trust in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala should come with absolute conviction. As we have already discussed HOPE, it is important to know that those who trust Allah never lose hope. As believers we need to find ways to strengthen our trust in Allah every day, we need to have “tawakkul”. Tawakkul is easily translated and explained as putting your ultimate trust and reliance on Allah which is among one of the greatest acts of worship. This ultimate submission of your trust entails accepting the various tests and outcomes that the almighty determines regardless of what you had hoped. The concept of tawakkul refers to our sincere belief and attitude whilst putting our complete confidence in Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala to take care of all our affairs. He will find a way, even when it seems like there’s no way. This is something that I have instilled in myself through the course of my life; accepting and trusting that what Allah has willed is the best for me. 16
LOVE The Love for Almighty Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala cannot be understated. As believers, the more love we have for Allah, the greater our spiritual strength. There are several ways we can achieve Allah’s love and in return it will increase the love He has for us, such as reciting daily Dhikr (remembrance of Allah). To continuously invoke the names of Allah with his various attributes can increase the love we have for the almighty. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 153 (Quran 2:153) it says ‘Therefore remember Me, and I will remember you’. This ayah alone emphasizes the importance of remembering Allah daily, as there is a promise that He will remember you too. Another way to increase our love for Allah is by ensuring we perform our five daily prayers. Once you devote yourself to praying and telling Allah about your problems with the certainty that he alone will solve it; be rest assured that your heart will attain sincere love for Almighty Allah. The above mentioned themes also collectively strengthen the love for the Almighty; you need to have hope in Allah, you need to trust Allah wholeheartedly, you need to be faithful, and you simply need to have sincere belief in him. As we strive to increase the love we have for Allah, we should abstain from doing things which Allah does not love to ensure we keep our love pure and strive for his mercy. 1 7

DUAS FOR LAILAT-UL- QADR It is important that we stay steadfast throughout Ramadan, however in the final days of Ramadan we are to expect the night of power also known as lailat-ul-qadr; the night that is better than a thousand months. Therefore, it is essential that we seek forgiveness with utmost sincerity during the last ten days in hopes of lailat-ul-qadr as it is a night that promises salvation and forgiveness from all our sins. ‘A’isha said, “I said, ‘Messenger of Allah, if I know what night the Night of Power is, what do you think I should say during it?’ He said, ‘Say: “O Allah, You are Pardoning and you love pardon, so pardon me.”‘” (Tirmidhi) Make it a habit of reciting the following short duas during lailat-ul-qadr. May we be among the lucky ones In Sha Allah. O Allah, You are the One who pardons greatly, and loves to pardon, so pardon me. Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu anni’ الْلُه َّم ِإَّنَك َع ُفٌّو ُتِح ُّب اْلَع ْف َو َفاْع ُفَع ِّني I seek forgiveness from Allah, being that there is no God except He, who is living, eternal and I turn towards Him in repentance. The power of Surah Ikhlas, Falaq and Naas Ayat-Al-Kursi I would like to emphasize on the importance of reading the three Quls and Ayat-al-Kursi for your daily protection. These 3 Surah’s should be read three times in the morning & evening, three times after Maghrib and once after every obligatory prayer alongside other azkhars. Aisha(RA) reported that whenever the Prophet – SallAllahu alayhi wa sallam – went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over them after reciting surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body.
