The library has staff with the following qualifications: S.1.1 BS in Library and Information Science for the academic S.1.2 MS in Library and Information Science S.2. The library meets the required number of qualified and licensed Librarians and staff to meet the needs of school population with the ratio: S.2.1 One (1) License Librarian with two (2) full time staff for the one (1) full time staff for every additional 1,000 students. S.3 There is a continuing staff development program with the corresponding financial assistance from the institution.

The WVSU Himamaylan Campus library personnel are composed of a professional librarian and support staff. Professional librarian refers to personnel who are licensed and holders of certificate registration issued by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), while the support staffs are graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Although the librarian-student ratio and librarian-staff are not met, the librarian with the help of her staff sees to it that they can provide and deliver better service to the library’s clientele by maximizing their time and effort in coping with the tasks at hand
