Summer 2021 Newsletter Rising From the Ashes Table of Contents Welcome to 2021, ATEC. Celebrating 40 Years of ATEC | 2 CDN & LISN Calibration | 4 A year in which our company rises from the ashes once again. Customer Spotlight: Rivian | 4 Phoenix Day 2021 | 5 We celebrate Phoenix Day each year on June 6th to commemorate the fire New Business Cards | 7 that destroyed our company in 1986, and how we always build back ATEC Softball | 7 stronger. We braved the 2008 financial crisis, a year when many family businesses closed their doors forever. We rolled up our sleeves, grabbed a bucket, and bailed water out of our warehouse when Roselle Street flooded in 2016. Now we've survived the COVID-19 pandemic. Our choice is this: do we just go on with our days like nothing happened? Or do we, like the mythical Phoenix, choose rebirth? We want to say thank you, for working hard, wearing your mask, keeping your sense of humor, and for what comes next: evolution. We look forward to seeing how you help us to grow in the coming years, in everything from new business cards to new processes and strategies. Here's a quote from Winston Churchill, a legendary prime minister who led his people through times even darker than our own: \"This is no time for ease and comfort. We Now Calibrate LISNs & CDNs We have expanded our A2LA Accredited ISO 17025 scope of accreditation to encompass Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) and Coupling/Decoupling Network (CDN) calibration. Thanks to Javier and Nick for their work on this expansion of our calibration capabilities, the next step in our growth beyond rentals and into the worlds of calibration, service, and sales. P.S. Sadly, only one of the guys in the picture is good at Foosball. Customer Spotlight: Rivian Rivian is an electric car company that specializes in adventure vehicles: trucks and SUVs designed for off-road performance. We equip companies like Rivian with the tools they need to design innovative products. Sitting at our desks, work stations, or walking around the warehouse, we may have some boring moments, but it's exciting to think that our work contributes to companies like Rivian bringing their products to life. Jamison will be buying everyone a Rivian truck as a thank you for all our hard work in the last year. Note: Your truck may or may not be a Hot Wheels.

Phoenix Day 2021 We had what many people are calling our best Phoenix Day ever, and it's all thanks to you, team. A dodgeball caught between the legs... an epic comeback at the Foosball tables... a cornhole death-match that must have lasted 3 hours... well done, everyone! Enjoy a few photos and start thinking of a team name for our next dodgeball tournament.



New Business Card Design Our marketing team is looking for new ways to grow, elevate, and evolve our brand, so we were excited when our Web Master, Deb Apprille, created a revolutionary new design for our business cards. Thanks, Deb, for giving us such a cool new look. Currently, the design is being reviewed by management, and we look forward to seeing the final result. Go ATEC Softball! Congratulations to our softball team for fighting hard this spring and summer for that gold. We're always looking for new players.
