Translation:-India my country! May you become full of energy (to protect yourself and others). May you become full of skills ( to attain self progress).(In this way). may India my country be full of energy and skills. शस्त्रधारकं शास्त्रधारकम।् शस्त्रशास्त्रधारकं भवतु भारतम ् ।। Word meanings:- शस्त्रधारकं - possessing (the latest) arms and ammunition. शास्त्रधारकम ्-possessor of science. Translation:-May India my country become the possessor of (the latest) arms, ammunition and the power of science. In this way, may India my country become powerful with arms, ammunitiontion and the science. रीततससं ्त्कृ तं नीततसंस्त्कृ तम ्। रीततनीतत संस्त्कृ तं भवतु भारतम ्।। Word meanings:- रीततससं ्त्कृ तं - one with a cultured life style नीततससं ्त्कृ तम ्- cultured in ethics. Translation:- May India my country become one with a cultured life style, ethics and discipline- May it be full of (proper ) method and ethics both.

कममनैक्ठिकं धममनैक्ठिकम ्। कमधम ममनकै ्ठिकं भवतु भारतम ्।। Word meanings:- कमनम कै ्ठिकं :- faithful to duty. धमनम ैक्ठिकम ्- faithful to religion. Translation:- May India my country be faithful to duty and faithful to religion.In this way may India be faithful to both duty and religion (at all times). भक्ततसाधकं मुक्ततसाधकम ् । भक्ततमुक्ततसाधकं भवतु भारतम ्। भारतं भारतं भवतु भारतम ् ।। Word meanings:- भक्ततसाधकं - achieving devotion. मकु ्ततसाधकम ्- making efforts for salvation. Translation:-India my country! India my country is (one that )achieve devotion (of the lord) and make efforts for salvation. (In this way )May India become the achiever of both devotion and salvation. Exercise Q-1 Fill in the blanks in following sentences.
