2017 is an exciting year for JCI Ortigas. It will definitely be a year of many “firsts”, and full efforts to rebuild our Local Organi- zation. For some, as i have been told, it will be a year of CHANGE for JCI Ortigas. A Change to BE BETTER and serve BEYOND SELF. The challenges that we have for this year is no joke. It will require a lot of patience, hard work & political will. But then these challenges should not discourage us, but rather inspire us, the 2017 BOD, to do our best because of our LOVE for our organi- zation. Our theme for this year, RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP, should serve as a gentle reminder and a motivation to us and to all JCI Members, that leading responsi- bly means being humble, setting a good example, providing selfless service to our nation, and most importantly being a POSITIVE INFLUENCE to our superiors, subordinates and peers. To the rest of our JCI Ortigas Family, let us help each other this year to further bring our LO to greater heights, and make us proud to say to others, that we are indeed happy members of this organization. Let us learn from the quote of the great Michael Jordan that, “There is no ‘I” in the word Team...”. We are one TEAM, to me we are one FAMILY. To end, we would like to take this oppor- tunity to send our sincerest gratitude to all those who have supported JCI Ortigas. We are looking forward to a wonderful year of Leadership, Service, & Friendship. Mabuhay ang JCI Philippines!!!
