Government of India Bureau of Energy Efficiency Ministry of Power Ministry of Power, Govt. of India HOSPITALS Railway Hospital Krishna (Andhra Pradesh) Divisional Railway Hospital/ Vijayawada of South Central Railway was constructed in the year 1930. It is two storied hospital building comprises of ICUs, laboratory, Operation theatre, medical stores and Air-conditioned wards for in-patients like post-operative ward, surgical ward, male medical ward, children ward etc. The building consists of 203 beds for In-patients, out of which 65 beds earmarked for COVID patients. The building is having a total built up area of 8951.72 Sq. M. with an air conditioned area of 1206.12 Sq. M. In addition to the above, one lift of capacity 20 persons was provided for patients. All the air-conditioned wards and Doctors chambers were provided with Star rated AC equipment. Hot water facility was also provided with solar water heaters of capacity 1400LPD. 15 Nos. of solar street lights provided in the hospital premises for usage of renewable source of energy. 100

The Divisional Railway Hospital – Rajkot was started on 1963 to provide quality medical services to its employees & family members of Rajkot Division. Government of India Bureau of Energy Efficiency Ministry of Power Ministry of Power, Govt. of India HOSPITALS Railway Hospital Erode, Tamil Nadu The new building for the Salem Divisional Railway Hospital has been declared open on 29.03.2016 at Erode. The Hospital is situated in the Railway Colony behind the Erode Junction and constructed at a total cost of Rs.5.5 crores. The Erode Railway Hospital has multispecialty wings, hi-tech intensive care unit, labour ward, surgical ward, operation theatre, paediatric ward, and additional laboratories and modern medical equipment such as multipara monitor, defibrillator, pulse oscillometer, and ENT and anaesthetics equipment, costing about Rs.45 lakhs have been installed therein. The hospital has 60 bed capacity as on date and the same will be expanded in due course. Erode has been the hub of railway activities with various railway institutions such as Diesel Loco Shed, Electric Loco Shed, Railway Schools, etc. with a sizeable number of Salem Railway Division employees, and is easily accessible by train from every part of the Division, such as 106

Kalyan Hospital attained the status of Divisional Hospital in 1993-94. Gradually with the increase of workloads and the demand, the hospital started growing both in terms of number of beds as well as number of staffs and ultimately has attained the present status of 120-bedded hospital with sanction of 22 doctors and proportionate paramedical staffs. 109

Hyderabad (Telangana) GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) was incorporated to develop, finance, build, operate and maintain the First Public Private Partnership Greenfield Airport project in India which is named as Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), under Build Own Operate & Transfer (BOOT) model. The project was commissioned in a record time of 31 months; commencing commercial operations on 23rd March 2008. The airport had an initial capacity of servicing 12 million passengers per annum (MPPA) and a cargo throughput of 1.5 lakh MT per annum. GHIAL being an Airport Operator, offers services to its customers directly or through its Service Partners, Concessionaries & Regulatory agencies (as per GOI agreement) such as AAI, MoCA, CISF, Immigration, BCAS and Customs. The fastest growing airport in India Catering to 21 Million Passengers in FY 19, Hyderabad International Airport has experienced major growth for the past 4 years. A robust growth in passenger traffic, with a 4 Years CAGR of around 20% from FY15 to FY19, RGIA is embarking on a large scale expansion. The expansion will increase 115

Government of India Bureau of Energy Efficiency Ministry of Power Ministry of Power, Govt. of India CPWD, STATE PWD & PHED Kacheguda Heritage Building Hyderabad (Telangana) Kacheguda Railway Station is one of the three Central Stations in Hyderabad City of Telangana in India, operated by the South Central Railway of Indian Railways. Constructed in 1916, by the Nizam of the erstwhile Hyderabad State, this Station was the Headquarters of the then Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway. From the intricate stucco decorations of the Qutub Shahi to the distinct Osmanian style of architecture, it represents the transition period in Hyderabad's architecture history. Endowed with central and side domes and accompanying minarets, the traditional Islamic architecture can be seen and this station has aspects of Gothic style architecture. Housing many modern passenger amenities, this station now serves as A1 station of the Hyderabad railway division of South Central Railway. This station was bestowed with the Intach Heritage Award in 2004 for its architecture and historicity. The entire building was surrounded by Green patches to provide serene and lush green ambience which will also add to the conservation of energy. This building has been awarded with Gold Rating by IGBC in Railway Stations category in 2018. 120

Government of India Bureau of Energy Efficiency Ministry of Power Ministry of Power, Govt. of India CPWD, STATE PWD & PHED 2 Electric Traction Training Centre Krishna (Andhra Pradesh) Electric Traction Training Centre (ETTC)/ Vijayawada has started functioning in the present new building from 01-09-2013. It is headed by a Principal (Senior Scale Officer) under the administrative control of Sr. DEE/ OP/ BZA. ETTC imparts various trainings viz., initial, refresher, promotional, conversional, simulator training on train dynamics and special courses to Running, TRS, EMU & TRD staff of SC Railway and occasionally to staff of other Railways on their request. Institute is having 23 Instructors for imparting training. Training on three phase locomotives was commenced from January 2007. All classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids viz., LCD projectors, PCs, Modern furniture. Air conditioned computer lab with 20 numbers of PCs available. Implemented E-learning by developing Power and Control circuits. An auditorium with 200 seating capacity available to conduct seminars, meetings and exams under CC cameras coverage. 123

Provision of Inverter AC units in place of conventional ACs, saving 15,120 units per annum. 125

Government of India Bureau of Energy Efficiency Ministry of Power Ministry of Power, Govt. of India CPWD, STATE PWD & PHED Sanchalan Bhavan (DRM office) Secunderabad Division, SCR Hyderabad (Telangana) Sanchalan Bhavan which was built in the year 1980, is the Divisional office of the Secunderabad Division, South Central Railway (SCR). The entire train Operations of this Division is controlled & monitored from this building. The Secunderabad division serves four states viz. Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Division has 1311.06 Route Kilometers of Track out of which, 1006.42 Km are in Telangana & AP, 179.37Kms in Maharashtra and 125.27Kms in Karnataka. Out of 1311.06 Route kilometers, 825.33 Km of Track is electrified. There are 162 stations out of which 127 stations are situated in Andhra Pradesh &Telangana, 22 stations in Maharashtra and 13 in Karnataka. Secunderabad Division is taking several steps in Energy Conservation, Water Conservation, and Paper usage reduction, Efficiency in Train Operation and Maintenance, Use of Renewable Energy Resources under “GO GREEN DRIVE”. The Energy Performance Index of Divisional building has come down from 52.55 kWh/Sq. Mt (2018-19) to 30.95 kWh/Sq. Mt (2020-21). EPI reduced by 33.01% over the 2019-20. 126
