HANDBOOK BLAEDTM'SINPLTAOYN! ISHA HUFANO

ABAOUUTTHOTRHE Hi! My full name is Johnesia Raquel Hufano, and am writing my first handbook I have ever made! I live in San Pedro, Laguna, and currently studying at Casa Del Niño Montessori and Science High School. I am a senior high student taking the academic strand STEM. Growing up, I have always been exposed to different kinds of sports. Badminton for me is one that have caught my eyes. I always wondered how it was played and what were the rules, and that is exactly what this handbook is about. I wish to make this a knowledgeable and fun book about one of the most popular sports, badminton.

The History of Badminton

How did it begin? Badminton is a sport that is contested in international competitions. Badminton is derived directly from Poona, which was played by British army officers stationed in India in the 1860s. The first unofficial all-England badminton championships for men were held in 1899, and the first badminton tournament for women was arranged the next year.

The Origin of Badminton This game was first developed in ancient China. However, some people said that this sport was already popular in England through a game called battledores.
