At thispoint of time I will share my personal views not as DRR but as member only. When I started my Rotaract journey in2013, I never knew that one day I will have this golden opportunity to serve this beautiful District. I have experi-enced many Rotaract years and have worked with many dynamic PDRRs. But the enthusiasm, togetherness, bond,love and care we witness this year is beyond imagination. The involvement of Presidents, members, District Coun-cil, Zonal Officers all have contributed so much to the organization and have worked with full dedication and loyal-ty. I never expected that I will get such beautiful members as a part of my council. I am thankful to each one of youwho worked so hard to make this a historic, memorable Rotaract Year.Last month I had a great time travelling to Mumbai and New Delhi to attend the Rotaract Zonal Institute 2018 alongwith DRR and DRS Elect Rtr Anmol and Rtr Rahul and Rotaract Global Model United Nations Special Editionalong with the District Conference of RID 3011. I am so proud of Rtr Nikunj Bajoria of RAC Muzaffarpur who wasone of the delegates representing Namibia at UN SOCHM, RGMUN. He delivered his work very brilliantly. I al-ways encourage Rotaractors to participate in such special Multi District events as it with help you learning newthings and make friends. I personal had great time learning and exploring new things at RGMUN 2018. I sharedquality time with the Rotaractors of RID 3011 at their District Conference “Sharansh”. It was a great and well man-aged conference and I congratulate DRR and his team members for successfully completion of their Rotaract GoldenYear. Also I would congratulate DRR Elect for successfully conducting District’s first Official Training program.Congratulations to host club RAC Patna City and president Rtr Shubhangini for hosting a great and memorableevent.We launched a Project Marathon which will continue till 30th June. There will be few tasks given under this thatwill consist of all avenues of services along with fellowship tasks too. Every President as well as members is re-quested to take part in this. Recently I came to know that RAC St. Xavier’s College has successfully completed theirHappy School Project It’s a matter of extreme pride that Rotaract Clubs are now completing Happy Schools on theirown. I congratulate President Rtr Amrendra and his team for the efforts and hard work. I also congratulate all mydear Clubs Presidents who are actively taking part in all District Activities and taking the flag of District at newheights.We still have miles to go before we say goodbye to this Golden Jubilee Year! Many clubs has already completed their citation process. Many congratulations for that. Those whoare facing problem in completing can contact the District officials for assistance. District is fully committed to helpin all possible ways. We have achieved a good number of reported presidents this year and working on to make it100% . Every president is requested to do the same and may contact District officials for any assistance. Each presi-dent should target to report all their members on rotary.org as it’s very important to get RI IDs.We have initiated project marathon that will continue till 30th June 2018. There will be some exciting offline as wellas online activities at regular intervals. The first one announced is “Care for all”. Four activities have been givenunder this task. Club President and members should focus to complete at least two of the given task. We are focus-ing on online projects too as much of the institutional based clubs are having exams during this time of the year.Lots of awareness and campaign projects can be carried out online.Last month was full of activities and action as we had the first Official separate PETS SETS and DOTS in our Dis-trict. Big congratulation to our DRR Elect Rtr Anmol Singhal for taking such initiative and congratulations to all theupcoming leaders for taking the official training.Honorable DRR, DRR Elect along with DRS Elect had their official training at RZI Mumbai last month. Trainingsare essential part of the Rotary movement were every individual get to learn more and explore Rotaract.DRR along with Rtr Nikunj from RAC Muzaffarpur attended the first ever Rotaract Global MUN Special Edition atNew Delhi and has represented our District at International level. DRR attended the District Conference of RID3011 too as the panelist and shared his opinions and thoughts about various aspects of Rotaract.Congratulations to the Golden Presidents, Secretaries and members for their hard work to make the Golden Year ofRotaract truly amazing and memorable. Kumar Prasad Sinha was the chief Guest. Dr C P Thakur was the Guest of Honour. PDG Rakesh Prasadwas also present there. Regional Manager of Syndicate Bank Mr. Sunil Singh Sobati shared his views and ideas regardingRotaract. Sponsoring President Rtn. Ravi Shankar Preet talked about this new idea launched as the Ist PETS, SETS &DOTS of RID 3250. This was really an amazing initiative taken by DRRE Rtr Anmol Singhal to train the upcoming leadersin a way that they can fight with the problems in the coming session . Rtn Sushil Poddar, DRRE Rtr Anmol Singhal,Rtr.Surbhi More, DRR Vaibhav Thakur, DRRN Subham Lal, IPDRR Diptesh Nawal ,PDRR Saurav Prasad , DRT RahulRajgadia were the speakers . Different topics and related issues were solved by the speakers. Past Presidents of Parent Rota-ry and members of Rotary Club of Patna City were also there. A Souvenir named Spring - The Beginning was also launched in front of Media & Press . Aspecial edition of weekly newspaper was also launched which was full of RAC Patna City's work. Rotarians from differentclubs also gave their strong support to this event to make it a grand success. The Maximum Registration Award was wonby RAC Saran City . There was a tie between Karim City and Kalimati for Miles &Miles . Announcement of upcomingevents and their dates with slabs were done . President Elect Rtr Lipika Preet was Master of Ceremony . The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - May 2018 Page No. 6 of 19Few Glimpses of SPRINGSPRING - एक रोचक अनभु वहमारे क्लब ने 1ST PETS SETS DOTS जिसका आयोिन पटना मंे हुआ था हहस्सा ललया वास्तव में यह एक बेहतरीन आयोिन था. सबसेपहले में कु छ ललखु इसके पहले एक बहे तरीन आयोिन के ललए मै अपने क्लब की तरफ से PETS SETS DOTS के होस्ट क्लब रोट्रेक्ट क्लबऑफ़ पटना लसटी को तहे हिल से बधाई िेता हूँ. सभी सिस्यों का उन्होंने िो आवाभगत ककया वो मह्शूस ही नहींी होने हिया की हमअपने क्लब के अलावा कही और आये है.यही खबू ी हमंे रोट्रेक्ट से लसखाने को लमलती है िहाीं हम सभी एक पररवार की तरह है.हमाराक्लब नया है िो अभी मात्र 8 महीनो का ही हुआ है इसललए हम सभी ने ये ननर्यण ककया की हम ज्यािा से ज्यािा सखंी ्या में इसमेंशालमल होंगे जिससे नए सिस्यों को रोट्रेक्ट के बारे में िानने और लसखने का एक िो एक स्वर्र्मण मौका लमला है वो कही छु ट निाये.इसी क्रम में हमने 16 सिस्यों का पिीं ीयन करवाया.सबसे बहे तरीन पल िब हमंे सवाणधधक पंीिीयन का अवार्ण लमला वो था.क्योककहमने ये सोचा भी नहींी था की हमारा क्लब ही इस अवार्ण का वविेता होगा.हमारे अगले सत्र के र्ीआरआर रोट्रेक्टर अनमोल भयै ा को हमारेक्लब के तरफ से बहुत-बहुत आभार क्योकक उन्होंने हमारे क्लब की तरफ से ज्यािा पीिं ीयन करने के ललए प्ररे रत ककया जिससे हमारेक्लब के ज्यािा से ज्यािा सिस्य भाग ले सके और इस बहे तरीन अनमोल पल के साक्षी बन सके . इस कायकण ्रम का हर कु छ अच्छा था खासकर रोटेररयन सुशील पोद्दार सर का ट्रेननगीं सत्र िो एक नई उिाण का सींचार हमलोग मंेकर गया.हमने सनु ा था लसफण की सलु शल सर िब बोलते है तो हर बार बहुत कु छ अच्छा लसखने को लमलता है लेककन िब सीधे तौर परहमने उन्हें सुना तो वाकई में उनका सत्र हमसे ा के ललए यािगार बन गया.हमारे र्ीआरआर वभै व सर का फण्र् राइजिंगी का सत्र हो यापीर्ीआरआर गौरव प्रसाि का सत्र या कफर शभु म भयै ा का नए सिस्य को आकवषतण करने का तरीका वाला सत्र ये सभी हमे एक नईपररभाषा इस रोट्रेक्ट के िीवन मंे लसखा गई िो मरे े और मरे े क्लब के सिस्यों के कानों मंे हमसे ा गूींिते रहेगी. यु कहे की ये हमारे ललएये आयोिन लमल का पत्थर साबबत होगा.अीतं मंे एक बार कफर में रोट्रेक्ट क्लब ऑफ़ पटना लसटी के सभी सिस्यों को, इस कायकण ्रम के इवेंट चये रपसनण और बड़े भाईरोटेररयन रववशकंी र प्रीत भयै ा को बहे तरीन आयोिन,शानिार आनतथ्य के ललए अपने क्लब की तरफ से बहुत – बहुत बधाई िेता हूँ.इस आयोिन को हम हमसे ा एक सनु हरे पल के रूप में याि रखंेग.े — रोट्रेक्टर ननकुँ ज कु मार अध्यक्ष,रोट्रेक्ट क्लब ऑफ़ सारण ससटीfacebook.com/rotaract3250 rotaract3250rotaract3250.wordpress.com [email protected]

This was also the first time that this happenedin South Asia. Rotaract Club of DTU along with RID 3011 host the Special Edition of RGMUN. Delegates from more than10 different countries along with India attended this event as delegates and observers. Rtr Nikunj Bajoria from our Districtalong with DRR Rtr Vaibhav Thakur attended this event. Rtr Nikunj is from RAC Muzaffarpur and he was one of thedelegate representing country of Namibia at UN SOCHM.\"Saransh\" Rotaract District Conference RID 3011DRR Rtr Vaibhav Thakur attended the Rotaract District Conference Saransh on 23rd April, 2018 at New Delhi. The DistrictConference was full of Rotaract information, knowledge and fellowship. DRR Vaibhav was one of the panelist along withDRR Rtr Yatin from RID 3090 and PDRR Rtr Harsh Sirohi. The discussion went on very fruitful discussing on various as-pects of Rotaract and its working. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - May 2018 Page No. 9 of 19 Rotaffair Club of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi From 03-04-18 to 06-04-18 installed desk in front of the auditorium within the college premises for the registration and promotion of our future event UDAAN. The desk was installed throughout the day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and members were also allotted with different time slots for the desk. On 08-04-18 successfully organised an event – UDAAN, an annual event on Women Empowerment in collaboration with Women Cell of our college. A total of 200 participants were witnessed for the different events like Tape a Tale, Exhibition cum Sale, poster making and many more. The winners were awarded with certificates and, trophies and medals at the time of Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Female non teaching staffs of the college were also felicitated during the event for their service towards the college. Rtr. Akshay Kr. Gupta, Secretary Elect of RAC of Chaibasa and President of RAC Social Revolution were also present. Our IPDRR Rtr. Diptesh Nawal judged the event and also motivated us by his presence. We also celebrated birthday of two of our Rotaractors at the end of the event. On 11-04-18 distributed 20 sarees to all the non teaching staffs of the college in the presence of the Principal Father Nicholas Tete and the club mentor Dr. Swarath Choudhary along with the Head of the Wom- en Cell Dr. Bharti Singh Raipat. On 17-04-18 along with the support of ST. Xavier’s College Ranchi organised a Cleanliness drive – Swacchta Abhiyaan within the premis- es of the college.A total of 25 Rotaractors participated in each of the slots and was very well coordinated by Rtr. Shubham Kumar Soni and Rtr. Rohit Singh On 20-04-18 actively volunteered the Blood Donation Camp organised by Guru Nanak Home in collaboration with RIIMS for Handicapped. We were overwhelmed to work for a good cause and were successfully able to collect 20 units of blood. On 22-04-18 organised a Marathon – Run for Yourself on the occasion of World Earth Day. The Chief Guest of the event was President of Mukti Foundation Mr. Praveen Lohia. IPDRR Rtr. Diptesh Nawal with his presence also guided us during the event. Harshit Agarwal of RAC KCC arranged One Unit of Blood.  On 07-04-2018 celebrated World Health Day where the member’s distributed Sanitary Napkin Pads to the women’s of the unprivi- leged area and taught them how to use the Napkin’s and spread online awareness about junk food .  On 09-04-2018 Rtr. Shekhar Kumar Singh arranged 2 units of blood.  On 12-04-2018 Rtr Abdul Kadir Khan and Rtr Pooja Sannigrahi arranged Two Units of Blood .  On 14-04-2018 celebrated their monthly project Roti Day , distrib- uted Roti and Sabji in Aambagan Sakchi.  On 18-04-2018 Rtr Devi of RAC KCC exchanged Letterhead with Rtr. Around 100-150 Members of RAC K.M.P.M. Voc. College and Jan Seva Jagruk Manch get collaborated and raised up their voices against rapist and weak constitutional laws of our country for rapists. Club of Social Revolution On 22-04-18 To celebrate millions of years of perseverance in a sin- gle day would be injustice and to detoriate the purest form of ele- gance, off its innocence is a heinous crime. As across the globe, peo- ple celebrates the World Earth Day, we rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Social Revolution, understand the essence of the Mother Earth. Our fellow rotaractors have tried to capture the fast fading beauty of the nature and spread awareness about what must be preserved. Club of ICWAI On 01-04-2018 Our upcoming club leaders, president elect, secre- tary elect and district officials attended the 1st Rotaract PETS SETS DOTS at Patna. On 08-04-2018 club member IPDRR Rtr. Diptesh Nawal attended the annual event of RAC St. Xavier College Ranchi. On 12-04-2018 club member Rtr. Rishav participated in the traffic awareness rally by Dainik Jagran. Club of Sindri On 01-04-18 upcoming leaders of club attended 1st Pets Sets at Patna. On 16-04-18 there was an open heart surgery at Medanta super speci- ality hospital, NCR Delhi we arranged for blood. On 28-04-18 we under the guidance of Rotary Sindri went on site for the re-establishment of a Hospital at Sindri. Also for the development of the area site for an airport was also inspected. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - May 2018 Page No. 13 of 19 Rotaffair Club of Saran City  On 01-04-18 won the maximum participation award in Pets,Sets & Dots.  On 11-04-18 organised Exercise awareness programme at Rajendra Stadium.  On 14-04-2018 we along with Rotary Saran organised Free Health Check Up Camp in KPS Market, where no. of beneficiaries were 756 patients. There was a team of 10 renowned Doctors of different specializations to serve them. Medicines were also provided for free.  On 18-04-2018 did the District Project “Namami Gange” by raising awareness among students of Lokmanya High School regarding ways to keep Ganges Clean.  On 19-04-2018 conducted an awareness programme of Heat Stroke an a local school and also provided them glucose water.  On 20-04-2018 to celebrate the Birthday of Founder of Rotary Paul P. Harris distributed books to the students of Buniyadi Vidyalaya Rampur. Around 95 children got benefitted.  On 22-04-2018 the occasion of World Earth Day planted sapling at Rajendra Sarovar campus.The members took an oath that they will plant a tree on their day of birth.  On 25-04-2018 Rtr. Md. Khurshid donated a unit of blood.  On 27-04-2018 conducted dental check up camp. 122 patients were the beneficiaries.  On 28-04-2018 Rtr. Dr. Pallavi Sinha. On 08-04-2018 welcomed Rtr. Alok Agarwal From Rotaract Club of Damodar Valley in Muzaffapur. We Members of Club along with Members Of Rotaract Muzaffarpur felicitated him with Token of Love. Club of Jain College On 17th & 18th April 2018 a 2 day event was held named “AAGAAZ 2018” in the campus of Jain College at Gamharia. The event provide a compiled opportunity of learning with fun & most importantly mingling with the peers of town. In this event 17 schools and 5 colleges participated and made this event a grand one. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - May 2018 Page No. 15 of 19 Rotaffair Club of Kalimati Jamshedpur On 01-04-2018 witnessed the first President, Secretary and District officials training session of RID 3250. On 07-04-2018 members of our club taught YOGA and WINS at our adopted school and gave them necessary information related to health. On 08-04-2018 promoted and distributed Paper Bags and also en- couraged the people to use Paper bags instead of Plastic Bags. On 09-04-2018 organised literacy classes in our adopted school. In this, the members took volunteering classes. On 10-04-2018 took an initiative of sprinkling of bleaching powder in and around our adopted school and gave the message of cleanli- ness to the students, vendors and hawkers. On 13-04-2018 executed seventh District Project \"NAMAMI GANGE\". In which members along with the students of our adopt- ed school pledged to protect and keep the rivers clean. Our club’s Honourable moderator was also present in the event. On 15-04-2018 Focusing on the deteriorating situation and cases on rapes, we took out a rally along with other social groups of Jam- shedpur. Our message was clear and the rally was organized peace- fully. On 20-04-2018 participated in an International clothes drive event under the surveillance of the host club Rotaract club of Beyrouth, RID 2452 and distributed clothes to the needy people. We donated clothes to around 50 families. On 24-04-2018 Club President Rtr Amandeep Singh Jassal donated blood. On 30-04-2018 visited Missionaries of Charity – Old Age Home. The rejoicing childish smile greeted us with generosity and we donated some useful stuff to the concerned head person. Club of NIFFT From 5th to 14th April 2018 co-organised the cricket competition NIFFT Premier League (NPL) in two tenures. From 22nd April to 3rd May 2018 organised its 12th edition of Pranav Priyadarshi Memorial Intra Sports Tournament.
