The district has noticed increase in event participation byour fellow Rotaractors and expects the same in the upcoming events too. The upcoming RYLA is going to be veryexciting. Hurry Up and get yourself registered today.Almost all the clubs have actively participated and supported the 6th District Project “Alaav”. Jalsa was notjust a conference but really a life time memory. It was full of fun, opportunities, fellowship, and excitement. I takethis opportunity to thanks host committee and Rotaractors of Ranchi City and all the clubs of Ranchi. The one per-son who took all the pain to give the best, I thank our District Treasurer and Conference Chairman Rtr Rahul Rajga-dia for his tremendous effort as Chair of the Golden Conference.Time flies so fast but with the passing time we are delivering our best by working harder for the community. Withthe common goal to serve the society and encourage friendship, we are setting new milestone in the history of 3250.I believe that this sprit will last long and will continue to grow in the coming sessions. We have successfully com-pleted the 7 months of Golden session with lots of service and fellowship and I believe that coming months will befull of more surprises and excitement.This year we have come with an exclusive RYLA for Rotaractors. RYLA Enlightenment which will be a multi dis-trict RYLA with the Art of Living at the land of enlightenment and salvation “Boadhgaya”, hosted by the Rotariansand Rotaractors of Patna Mid Town. We have planned so many group activities, team work, exciting games, leader-ship sessions, farm party, DJ night etc for you all. I request you all to come forward and join this exclusive RYLAEnlightenment.Recently I visited Rotaract Clubs of Bettiah Central, Crescent, Patna Mid Town and Biharsharif. I must say that theenthusiasm which the new clubs are delivering is overwhelming and commendable. Well planned OCVs and out-standing working with their parent Rotary. The new clubs are doing great job in community service areas and usinginnovative ways to touch lives. I must also acknowledge the work of Biharsharif as I visited there for the OCV. Theclub is among the oldest in our District and no doubt is amongst the finest. The collaboration with Rotary and Inter-ect is amazing and the projects done by the clubs is appreciable. I thanks DRS Rtr Hamza and all concern ZRR andZRS for the arrangements of OCVs in their respective Zones.My best wishes to all the clubs for the upcoming OCVs, projects and activities.Cheers to our Rotaract bond!PP. Truly it was a conference of celebration, joy, learning and fun! I thank all thedelegates and team leaders for coming in such great numbers and making it a grand success. Really this would havebeen impossible without the hard work of Chairman Rtr Rahul Rajgadia and his conference committee. Also I mustacknowledge the hard work of all the others Rotaractors of Ranchi. You all have delivered the true spirit of teamwork.Our District project Alaav was super successful. We touched so many hearts with this project. I appreciate the initia-tive took by various club of our District such as warm cloths collection and distribution among poor and needy,blankets distribution, arrangement of alaav at various public squares, organizing awareness programs etc. All theprojects done are appreciable. I thank all the club leaders and members for their valuable time and cooperation inorder to celebrate this project!As we promised to give our best in this session, District has come up with Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)camp after a long time exclusively for the Rotaractors. This will be a Multi District RYLA hosted by Rotary andRotaract Club of Patna Mid Town. The RYLA will be hosted with The Art of Living with loads of fun, group activi-ties and fellowship programs. I request all the members to participate in maximum numbers.We have successfully completed 7 glorious months of the golden session with lots of new milestones and greatmemories. I strongly believe that in coming months also this number will keep on increasing and together we willwrite down new History of 3250. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - February 2018 Page No. 9 of 23 Rotaffair Club of Ranchi City From 06-01-18 to 07-01-18 organised 32ndRotaract District Conference at Ranchi. On 07-01-18 Exchanged Letter Head and Flag with RAC Damodar Val- ley, Exchanged Letterhead with RAC Muzzafarpur , RAC Ardent Youth. On 18-01-18 participated in the project “SALUBRITY” initiated by RAC Amity Physiotherapy, where we interacted with students and demonstrated the proper way of washing hands, taking care of health and hygiene. On 26-01-2018 participated in making video on the eve of Republic Day, in the initiative called “THE REPUBLICAN”, organised by RAC HR College RID 3141. This month we have arranged 2 units of B+ blood at Seva Sadan Hospital in an emergency case. Club of Muzaffarpur West On 23-01-2018 We distributed clothes among the needy at the winter. On 26-01-2018 We celebrated this Republic day among the students of Primrose Public School. With Our DRR Vaibhav Thakur, ZRR Saurabh Srivastava & other team members. On 26-01-2018 we distributed 5000 flags on the roads among the people travelling at Lakshmi Chowk & Rotary Chowk. On 28-01-2018 We hosted one of the historical event of Muzaffarpur. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - February 2018 Page No. 10 of 23 Rotaffair Club of Mrs. KMPM Vocational College On 06-01-18 Attended 32nd District conference held at Ranchi Hosted by Ranchi City. On 11-01-18 Organised Poster Competition at college over the topic of “Youth Development”. On 12-01-18 Attended the youth development event organised by TSRDS (Tata Steel Rural Development Society) where the prizes for the above mentioned poster competition was also distributed. The event held at Tribal Cultural Society, Sonari, Jamshedpur. On 12-01-18 We celebrated Vivekananda Jayanti with our brother club, RAC Kalimati Jamshedpur. In this students were conveyed the teach- ings of Vivekananda over Youth Development and Moral Values. On 12-01-18 Rtr Anjali Seth, Community service director of RAC Mrs. K.M.P.M. Voc College arranged to install a dustbin which was supplied by Jugsalai Nagar Palika which led the foundation to the Joint project with RAC Kalimati Jamshedpur. On 13-01-18 General body meeting of our club, leaded by Rtr. Aman- deep Singh Jassal (ZRR, RID 3250, Zone 4) for motivating the young rotaractors of our college. On 19-01-18 Joint Cleaniness drive with RAC Kalimati Jamshedpur at Sakchi area, Jamshedpur. This idea was initiated by RAC Kalimati and we were glad that the event was made a Joint one. On 26-01-18We had a joint event initiated by RAC Dombivali. In which we had the Sandesh banner filled with the heartiest greetings, slogans and wishes to our very own Soldiers. On 28-01-18 we had “Aalav”. For which we had a joint cloth donation drive whith RAC Kalimati. Which took place at Golmuri and surround- ing areas. The clothes were collected by the effort of our young rotarac- tors that lasted around a week. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - February 2018 Page No. 11 of 23 Rotaffair Club of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi On 13-01-18 we in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Social Revolu- tion organised a two days mega extravaganza “SPORTARACT 2.0”.The event was promoted in the city through Flash mobs in Big Ba- zaar, Nucleus Mall and Pantaloons Mall on 3rd, 6th, 10th of January. On 18-01-18 the Medical Campaign – Bachi Dawai Bachayein which has been initiated as a new campaign by Rotaract Club of St. Xavier’s College Ranchi in collaboration of St. Xavier’s College has taken a step ahead. The schools where the boxes of campaign were supposed to be put have been added by three more names in the list - St. Assisi High School, St. Anne’s High School and JVM Shyamali. The schools were approached by Rtr. Kumari Madhu, Rtr, Aryan Mishra, Rtr. Lisha Papneja, Rtr. Sakshi along with Sir Prakash Tekriwal’s son and were successful in their work . On 26-01-18 we celebrated Republic Day with the children of our adopted school Rajkiyakrit Madhya Vidyalaya, Tharpakhna. The idea of spreading awareness about the campaign – Ek Aachi Aadat, Hand- wash was also promoted by our Vice President Rtr. Kumari Madhu and other members by painting washbasins and making children wash their hands with the papersoaps provided to them. Some girls also per- formed group dance and group song on the occasion. On 26-01-18 Yoga Gurukul, Taiwan and Yoga Light, Macau in collab- oration with Rotaract Club of St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi organised a cultural program and Graduation Ceremony. Many of our members including President Rtr. Amrendra Yadav, Vice President Rtr. Kumari Madhu, Joint Secretary Rtr. Sanjna Kumari, Rtr. Ritu Jain, Rtr. Pri- yanshu were present at the Rotary Hall, Ranchi and had a very surreal feeling while attending the Yoga event where they got an opportunity to know its importance. Club of Sindri On 26-01-2018 we Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of BIT Sindri cele- brated republic day. Flag hoisting was done by our college director Dr. D.K Singh, An alumni and a very senior Rotarian was a chief guest. Conf. at Ranchi. On 22-01-18 Rotaract Club of Saran also participated in the Human Chain held on January 22, 2018, to stop dowry system. Club of Saran City  On 01-01-18 on New Year eve distributed winter clothes at differ- ent parts of the city.  On 07-01-18 on won best flag award at Rotaract District Confer- ence.  On 12-01-2018 celebrated youth day by distributing 37 dustbins in different temples.  On 13-01-2018 we conducted bonfire under the 6th district project arranged for 127 kg wood and along with that distributed 469 win- ter clothes at different parts of the city.  On 14-01-2018 celebrated Makar Sankranti with orphan children and distributed 43 blankets and 86 Biscuits packets.  On 21-01-2018 organised Human Chain for awareness on Anti- Dowry so eradicate the practice of this inhuman activity.facebook.com/rotaract3250 rotaract3250rotaract3250.wordpress.com [email protected]

Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors were also present there. On 06-01-18 & 07-01-18 13 members of RAC Patna City attended District Conference Jalsa and was awarded Best Club Letterhead. RAC Patna City announced to be the host of District Event ‘SPRING- The Beginning’ the Ist PETS/SETS/ DOTS . On 21-01-18 RAC Patna City also joined hands in the human chain organised by Bihar Government for the eradication of Dowry System & Child Marriage. Interactors of The Indian Public High School were also present there . On 26-01-18 RAC Patna City attended the flag hoisting Ceremony in the Campus of The Indian Public High School. Rtr Shubhangini Gup- ta sponsored Certificates to the participants of the programme. On 26-01-18 RAC Patna City did a joint project with Rotaract of Dombivili Central and RAC Pune Katraj RID 3131 Sandesh 2.0 & Video with Flag respectively in the campus of The Indian Public High School among the students. On 31-01-18 RAC Patna City attended the OCV of Patna Mid Town with Rtn. R.S. Preet and Interactor Ravyanshu Preet. Club of rotaract3250 Social Revolution [email protected] On 06-01-18 The club president and the club secretary attended the annual district conference organised by RAC Ranchi City and became the part of the biggest event of the Rotaract District 3250. On 13th & 14th Jan 2018 Rotaract Club of St. Xavier's College, Ran- chi and Rotaract Club of Social Revolution organised a two days mega sports extravaganza \"SPOTARACT 2.0\" from 13th to 14th January. On 27-01-18 we organized a basic health and hygiene awareness pro- gramme on 27th January, 2018, at Samlong slum. Shubham exchanged club flag and letterhead with RAC KCC and RAC Damodar Valley at district conference Jalsa. On 14-01-2018 Our clubs President Rtr. Shubham Pandey distrib- uted stationary items among the children’s of orphanage at Aanchal Sishu Aashram, Ranchi. On 26.01.2018 Club secretary Rtr. Shubham and IP President Rtr. Aman Verma distributed sweets and our national flag among the traffic police on the occasion of Republic Day. On 28.01.2018 Our club joined hands with Rotary in the Polio awareness drive on Polio Day and visited the societies to aware the urban people about the Polio. Club of Guru Nanak College On 30-01-2018 this winter season, Rotaract club of G.N. college has distributed around 500 of clothes to the most poor and needy people including children and old citizen, in the Jorapathak area near Shakti Mandir. Member of the club had collected a good amount of warm clothes from college students. This project is sponsored by Khokhar family in memory Late Harbhajan singh Khokhar. Motto of this project is to spread awareness among com- mon people by media. On 07-01-2018 Three members from the club attended JALSA , the annual district conference. On 26-01-2018 club members volunteered as sadar hospital’s man- agement team after a local bus met with an accident near talaburu, Club members helped in first aid of the injured passengers. On 26-01-2018 Republic Day Celebration with parent club Rotary Club. On 28-01-2018 Rtr . On 05-11-2017 the rotaractors of our club went Kapali for their weekly project. There they taught women about self- confidence and English writing. On 14-01-2018 alike every month Rotaract Club Of Karim City Col- lege celebrates Roti day but this time as this day fell on the day of festival of Makar Sankaranti , the Rotaractors distributed Tilkut ,Chura laddu ,murri laddu , Chura and sweets to the needy people near loyala School and Few Warm clothes were also distrib- uted to them. On 24-01-2018 Rtr Ashutosh Kumar member of Rotaract Club of Karim City College Donated one unit of Blood in an emergency situ- ation for Sarosh Kumar Raul who was admitted in Kantilal Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Adityapur. Club of Jain College From 9th to 12th Jan 18\"Special camp\" was organised by the Rotract Club of Jain College Jamshedpur along with NSS on 9th,10th,11th and 12th of January. This was a 4 day program with vairous activities like Health Camp ,Nukkad Natak ,Hand Wash ,Distribution of Khichdi . On 26-01-2018 we the Rotaractors of Jain college Jamshedpur celebrated the Republic day in our college premises. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - February 2018 Page No. 17 of 23 Rotaffair Club of Kalimati Jamshedpur On 01-01-2018 visited Kadma, where fire broke out and damaged number of homes. The team interacted with the victims and distrib- uted clothes, foods and other essential things to the needy.The vic- tims felt fortunate enough to get helped by our Rotaract family. We touched lives and seek blessings from all the souls. On 05-01-2018 successfully distributed bundles of warm clothes among the less fortunate ones in the shivering cold of January. Woollen wears for all ages were collected and targeted locations of the city were therefore benefited. People stood forward to neck us for such needy lovable gifts. On 06th & 7th Jan 2018 participated in the 33rd District Confer- ence of Rotary International District 3250, titled 'Jalsa'. Our Club actively participated in the sub events and grabbed various awards. Our club Vice-President Rtr. Roshan Agarwal won the title of Mr Jalsa and our Club won Best Bulletin Award.Meanwhile we were declared as the host team for the next District Assembly. On 12-01-2018 successfully celebrated National Youth Day in one of their adopted school. We conducted a short introduction class about Swami Vivekananda, the reason behind this Day. We delivered the teachings, experience and message for the Youth of India. After- wards the students marched out for a rally on road with the rally cry of slogans. On 12-01-2018 sprinkled bleaching powder in the vicinity of city wherever the dirt’s emerged, to reduce the inconvenience caused by the mosquitoes and germs. Also the mass were taught the im- portance of cleanliness. On 13-01-2018 we along with Rotaract Club of Mrs KMPM Voca- tional College held a joint meeting in which new members were giv- en fine idea about Rotaract and its working. We planned few joint projects to be executed in future. On 13-01-2018 celebrated the festival of sweets 'Makar Sankranti' with the grandparents in a nearby Old Age Home. We distributed jaggery sweets, interacted, interrogated about their wellness and sought lots of blessings from them. On 15-01-2018 celebrated the Birth anniversary of Rtr. Gargi Banerjee, International Service Director of the team Kalimati. On 15-01-2018 successfully celebrated the Army Day by paying a visit in a nearby Army Camp. We interacted with the cadets, mili- tary men and them about their daily schedule in the camp. We thanked them for their ceaseless service for the welfare of society. On 17-01-2018 executed their monthly sustainable project of plant- ing trees. This time the event was observed in one Government School, involving students and other team fellows of Club. On 17-01-2018 went for door to door Newspaper Collection and completed its monthly project. We collected around 30 kg of papers among which 80 % were donated to the NGOs who will be manufac- turing paper bags. The Chain | RID 3250 (Bihar & Jharkhand) | Issue - February 2018 Page No. 18 of 23 Rotaffair Club of Kalimati Jamshedpur On 18-01-2018 organised ‘sports event' in one of the adopted Gov- ernment School. Students of the school took active participation in the outdoor sports. On spot the team members volunteered and worked hard for the event, followed by proper judgement and deci- sions On 18-01-2018 performed its monthly project WINS in their adopt- ed Government School. On 18-01-2018 continued its monthly project of sustainable cleanli- ness i.e., sprinkled bleaching powder. On 19-01-2018 conducted a Class on General Knowledge. Judging the lack of knowledge about the home state ‘Jharkhand’, the mem- bers gave important teachings to students about their state, about the formation, administration and many general facts. All the chil- dren showed their interest in the class and lastly we ended the event with a small quiz round. On 19-01-2018 executed its monthly project of cleanliness drive with its brother Club Rotaract Club of Mrs K.M.P.M Vocational Col- lege. This time a very needy location 'Chayanagar ' was targeted. On 20-01-2018 witnessed ‘Euphoria’, the 5th District Conference of RID 3262 organised by RAC Balasore in the Sand City Balasore. We were welcomed and felicitated pleasantly by the host club. Few letterheads were made to exchange with the other guest clubs, hence made more new companions. We also participated and won some special awards in cultural events. Altogether it was a peaceful and enormous visit to Odissa and its Clubs. On 21-01-2018 executed a heartfelt project of feeding some under- privileged people outside a Temple. The Members feed up 25+ peo- ple with fruits and home-made food. The poor, blessed members for being such kind to them and wished good luck for club's upswing and future projects. On 21-01-2018 acted out a project apart from serving humans. Af- ter the mankind, members also feed some street animals on the roadside that were buzzed off from the nearby food shops. The hun- ger aggrieved animals were feed up till the throat and stroke fon- dled with love. On 22-01-2018 celebrated the festival of Knowledge 'Saraswati Pu- ja’, in the Temple of learning. The Members bow down in front of the Deity Saraswati to honour her for the immeasurable deeds on human beings. On 23-01-2018 executed its monthly project of paper bags promo- tion. This time the members made small paper packets which are often used by vendors. On 25-01-2018 executed a project initiated by Rotaract Club of Am- ity Physiotherapy, RID 3012. The project was performed in premis- es of our one of the adopted school. We motivated and made realize, the public about their power of Voting in Elections.  On 26-01-2018 celebrated the 69th National Republic Day of India in the premises of our one of the adopted Government School. The whole School bow their heads in the honour of the National Flag and National Constitution which came into existence years ago in the same day.  On 26-01-2018 successfully executed Sandesh 2.0, initiated by Rota- ract Club of Dombivli Central, RID 3131.  On 27-01-2018 executed the 6th District Project 'Alaav' in the streets of Jamshedpur. Our Club Members lit a small fire in select- ed public places where cold shivered the public. People gathered over there for comfort, came to know about Rotaract and lastly warm clothes were distributed among the needy ones.  On 28-01-2018 conducted a polio drop campaigning in a very popu- lated area of City. The Club Members approached people walking across with toddlers and made the kids drink the Polio Drops.  On 29-01-2018 executed its monthly project of Cheshire Home Visit. The rejoicing childish smiles greeted us with generosity and the privilege of lost in their world was felt again. At last we donated some useful stuff to the concerned headperson of the Cheshire Home.  On 30-01-2018 celebrated the National Martyr's Day, A day recog- nized for the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and other Martyrs who died for the Nation. Club of BiharSharif  On 01-01-2018 A friendly Cricket match organised by By Rotary club of biharsharif and Rotaract Club of biharsharif at Sogra School Playground.  On 06-01-2018 attended District Conference Jalsa at Ranchi.  On 08-01-2018 Celebrated Inw. Member Dr. Suniti Sinha Birth- day by By Rotaract Club of Biharsharif in the presence of Rtn. Dr.Arvind Kumar Sinha and Inw. We Continued this dis- tribution on every alternate days in January. On 06-01-2018 We the Members of Rotaract Club of Amrapali President Rtr. Ayush Shaswat, Secretary Rtr. Shiksha Kumari, ISD Rtr. Sneha Kumari and Rtr. Aishani along with our Parent Rotary Amrapali President Rtn. Dr. Pallavi Sinha attended Rotaract Dis- trict 3250 Conference JALSA at Ranchi. Where our Club Member Participated in CULTURAL PRESENTATION, CLUB PRESEN- TATION, Ajeet Chadda Memorial award and Mr.& Miss Jalsa Competition.Club Secretary RTR. SHIKSHA KUMARI became Miss Jalsa at Ranchi and also Our Club Rotaract Club of Amrapali Got Best Cultural Presentation Award. On 09-01-2018 We the Members of Rotaract Amrapali Welcomed and Felicitate DISTRICT ROTARACT SECRETARY 3011 Cum President of RAC Ardent youth Phf. Rtr. Ritanshu Sharma and Rtr. Gautam Sharma on their I.D.Y.E in Muzaffarpur and gave To- ken of Love to them. On 10-01-2018 visited an old age home visit with President DRS PHF Rtr. Ritanshu Sharma & Rtr. Gautam Sharma of (Rotaract club of ardent youth, RID 3011) and our Club Members. On 12-01-2018 Rotaract and Rotary amrapali arranged Bonfire Alaav for Hawkers and rickshaw pullers also road side people. This project was done on alternate Interval on time through out in chilly winter in January. On 26-01-2018 Celebrated 69th Republic Day at our Club Office With our Parent Rotary Amrapali in the Presence of our Chief Guest Honourable DRR Rtr. Vaibhav Thakur and ZRR Zone 1 Rtr. The peo-ple, venue, food, arrangements were just WOW. I got the opportunity to met Rotaractors fromdifferent Clubs and learnt a lot from the event. ` -Rtr Devi,RAC KCCParticipation in the 32nd \"District Conferences \"Jalsa\" wa something new for usbeing a newly charter club. We learnt different ways of social service and the art ofliving. We took part in all the events organized, and our club won the Best FlagAward, which is a great achievement for a new club. We felt that happiness veryclosely. In general we decided that we will never leave such an event in our entirelife. Our members says that \"Jalsa\" has taught us an art of life, teamwork ,socialservice and got lot of friends there. -Team RAC SARAN The team members had a great experience over there, we gained avails and learned profitable lessons from the speakers.
