This is me!I am Alexander John Taylor and I am a Lego builder, coder, and abudgie lover, and I might one day have an aviary.I am thinking aboutbecoming an artist or a scientist, possibly even something to do withtechnology. I was born on the 2nd of December 2002, and it onlyhas 0’s, 1’s and 2’s in the date, which is odd. Anyway I own a yellowbudgie called Woodstock and I play the piano for fun, not grades.I am hopefully going to go to Highgate or Westminster. My friends(In order of liking) are Luca, Eddie, Nathan, Joe, Alistair, Charlie,Baran and last, but assuredly not least, Rahul.I like sushi and steak, but I hate raw tomatoes and jellyfish. Also I likebirds in general, their feathers. My dad is the guy who owned all thejetskis and quadbikes, and was also the guy who used to throw mearound (Literally!). My favourite TV show is The Big Bang Theory andmy favorite teachers are Mrs Fleming, Miss Kirk and Mr Symeou.(Sorry if I offended any of the teachers who didn’t make it on to this list. Just remember, deep down inside you’re all great...)During year 5 I discovered a cartoon that I based a little show oncalled “Battle For Dream Island”. It was sort of like Big Brother,because every contest, we would vote someone off and we wouldget cake, supplied by my friends Eddie Courtney and Luca Shah. Atthe end the winners received prizes. The Game Page This is the page for your daily dose of gaming facts and info, as well as reviews and other such things! My first article will be on Scratch! One of the first things about scratch you need to learn is a moving script that doesn't stutter, only one script! Do not use the one in the tutorial, under ANY circumstances! Use this one shown in the picture, because it runs a smoother, less stuttery game. I recently made this game called \"Portal\" (Based off of Portal ;D) And it uses horribly long scripts, and ridiculously long equasions, but one part of the script is really useful! The GRAVITY script! This is a script that you should put in your backpack because there is no point in copying it so many times. In fact you should add all of your mainly used scripts to the backpack, so there is no fuss about having to copy scripts over and over and over again. Just makes me want to scream.Anyway here it is, one of themost beastly scripts ever:This is a very good and cleverscript because it does bouncingand can be very useful. Also editthat figure down there by thearrow to change the gravity.Lower number=more gravity.I usually use 7.5, since it is ok,and generally relative to earthgravity.Recently a lot ofpeople have beenasking me for game requests,and I have taken up some ofthem, like the Flappy Bird game Imade, and I could accept somemore. Alistair Fraser Chernobyl Nuclear DisasterThe reason that I am talking about the Chernobyl disaster is because it is nearly the thirty anniversary of the disaster. ! At 1:23 am on April 26th 1986 reactor four at the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl in the Ukraine exploded. Releasing more than a hundred times the radiation of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Thirty one people died shortly after the explosion. Thousands more are expected to die from the long term affects of radiation. The Chernobylnuclear disaster dramatically changed the worlds opinion about using nuclearreactors for power. Could this disaster have been averted and could they havesaved the reactor.A routine maintenance and a test on reactor fourOn april the 25th 1986, reactor four was going to be shut down for a routinemaintenance test. Technicians were also going to run a test to determineweather the turbines should produce enough energy to keep the coolingsystem running until the back up generators came online in case of a powercut. The shut down test began at 1am on April the 25th. To get accurateresults from the test the operators turned off several of the daft systems(which would turn out to be a disastrous decision) In the middle of the testthe shut down had to be delayed for nine hours because of a high demand forpower in kiev. The shutdown and the test continued again at 11:10 pm on thenight of April the 25th.!A Major problem

Alistair Fraser Chernobyl Nuclear DisasterJust after 1 am on april the 26th 1986 the reactors power dropped suddenlycausing a potentially dangerous situation. The operators tried to compensatefor the low power. But the reactor went out of control. If the safety systemshad remained on they would have fixed the problem. However they were not.The reactor exploded at 1:23 am.The world discovers a meltdownThe world discovered the accident two days later on april the 28th whenoperators of the swedish Formark nuclear power plant in Sokholm registeredunusually high radiation levels near their plant. When other countries inEurope began to register similar high radiation readings they contacted theSoviet Union to find out what had happened. The Soviets denied anyknowledge about the nuclear disaster until 9 pm on april 28th. When theyannounced to the world that one of the reactors had been \"damaged\".Could this have been averted?In my opinion this could have been averted. The events leading up to thedisaster first the routine maintenance then the some of safety systems beingturned off then the high demand for power. Out of all the things in the eventslisted the one that really led to the explosion happening was some of thesafety systems being turned off.

Thetotal number of military and civilians casualties in WorldWar One was over37 million. the total number of deathsincludes about 10 million military personnel and about 7million civilians. At least 2 million died from diseases and 6million went missing, presumed dead.!If war did not exist then some of the technologicalbreakthroughs might not have happened yet or will everhappen.!But in world war two things were not like World War One. InWorld War One it had been static trench warfare. But inWorld War Two it was fast moving and mobile. With betterplanes and tanks that could go faster and further thanbefore. While the Battle Of Britain was happening. In thewestern desert (North Africa) the eighth army was trying tostop the German commander Erwin Rommel who was tryingto get to the Suez Canal. War has shaped history andchanged lives, sometimes not for the better. Without warthings would be much different. There is only one workingTiger tank in the world and it is at the royal tank museum inBritain. KV 1 Russian Tank This is the only Churchill Mark 3working Tiger Tank inthe world. It is kept in KV 2 Russianthe Royal Tank Museum Tankin Dorset.

Now you see I have many friendssome have left the school such as Dimitri (sorry if thespelling is wrong) but I keep in touch with him. Someare still in school such as Ethan D (my best friend),Joe,Nathan,Alex and Eddie. I expect that I over reactsometimes and can be a bit annoying sometimes aswell. Me and Ethan D have things in common such aswe both like war facts and tanks.Now then you see when I grow up I want to be ever aEngineer or in the RAF probably. My favourite choice isever the engineer or to Fly historic aircraft.
