PET BOTTLE RECYCLING JOURNEY It was a hot summer day. A naughty boy ran into the market. He bought water in a plastic bottle from the grocery store. He was so thirsty that he immediately went out and went to a park. He finished his water in a short time. He searched a trash can to throw away his finished water bottle. But the garbage was far away. The boy was very lazy. So he threw the bottle away. This behavior was very bad, but the little boy did not know it. Soon the little boy left the park. The little plastic bottle boy was so dazed that he was squeezing himself. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a wet and dark environment. He was surrounded by bright and white teeth. It was the mouth of a dog. He started playing with a plastic bottle for a while. The pet bottle was both overwhelmed and scared. Anxiously he called to the dog: -Hey leave me alone! You're hurting me!



The dog did not hear the sound of the plastic bottle. He continued to play with the bottle for a while. After a while, when he got tired, he threw the bottle in a section with plenty of trees. The plastic bottle was baffled, but now it was lying under a bush. This place looked like a great place, very calm and quiet. After a while, he eavesdropped and heard the plastic bottle talking among the trees themselves. A tree: -Who is it? Other tree: -Who threw it here again? A sapling: -I saw! A mischievous dog brought him in his mouth and threw it here. A bush: -But now this bottle will stay here for centuries. I really have a hard time understanding the human son . When these bottles are not recycled, they do a lot of damage to nature. I really don't understand why a creature struggles so much to make its environment uninhabitable. Now this bottle will continue to pollute the environment until environmental people come and buy this bottle. I am really angry



A worried sycamore: -What do we do if it overheats with sunlight and starts a fire? Oops! What if there is a fire? I am so afraid. Someone must rescue us immediately. A tree: -You have to be calm, sycamore. Remember that there are little saplings all around us. You also worry other creatures in the forest. Please try to stay calm and use positive sentences. Worried Plane Tree: You're right, but I'm sorry, I can't control myself . Old Tree: -Yes, we all understand you. We are also worried. This plastic bottle will stay here for a while and we don't know how harmful it will be. But do not forget that we have environmental friendly people and they will help us. A Willow Tree: They were here just last week. What if it takes years for them to come back? What if they never come back. Actually, I'm very worried too. I'm afraid it might ignite the dried grass and start a fire.

-I am so sorry to bother you. Believe me, I do not want to harm you and nature. Humans created me to be a useful item. Thanks to me, they can drink clean water. Thus, they prevent diseases. But unfortunately, a naughty boy threw me into nature instead of throwing me in the trash. A dog also played with me and brought me here. I am in a very difficult situation. Please don't think badly of me. As a result, my raw material comes from nature. It only takes a long time for me to re- enter nature after it has been processed . There is nothing I can do for this. I am really sad. A tree: -Hey! Excuse me? For the first time, a plastic wants to communicate with us. He's actually right.Hey plastic bottle! Is this your first production? Plastic bottle: -Yes! I am born for the first time. My friends, who are plastic bottles, said that if we were not recycled and thrown into the nature, we would be stuck in nature for centuries. I was afraid of that too. I always wanted environmentally conscious people to buy me. But unfortunately, a lazy boy bought me and when he was done, he dumped me in the ground.

A tree: -Do not worry. Didn't a young boy from the environmentalist say that he really liked this place and would like to come back? It will come again soon. Let's think positively. We are in a season where the weather is very hot and the sun's rays are perpendicular to the earth. But let's not panic, please. Also, look at the bottle, it fell under the bush. I hope you will be sent for recycling soon. All the trees apologized for the plastic bottle. Pet bottle also accepted the apology of the trees. The days were passing quickly. He loved the pet bottle forest very much. He became friends with trees and other plants. But he knew he didn't belong here. His place was among the people. He had to do his duty by helping people. It was the thing that would make him the happiest. But his friendship with the creatures in the forest gave him an incredible experience. He didn't know how many days passed. One morning, a cheerful group of people awoke to the sound of a group of people who had come to the forest, even though it was very early in the morning. The tree whispered merrily among themselves: - Hey ! You see, our environmentalist friends have come. Hey plastic friend, these are the people who will save you. Now you can go back to where you belong.

At this time, the people formed a half-ring. There were people of all ages among them. But the little boys brought joy to the team. Sometimes the little children listened with great attention to the sounds of the birds. Sometimes , as in fairy tales, they hugged trees and leaned their ears against the trunks of trees, thinking that the trees would talk to them. The trees were also lovingly watching the children. A young girl who seemed to be their leader began to speak: - Yes, my dear environmental friends! This will be our starting point. This forest is very close to the city. Families often come to this forest for picnics and unfortunately there is a lot of plastic waste around. If we want our children and grandchildren to enjoy picnics and camps in this forest in the future, we must keep this place clean. Unfortunately, there are too many irresponsible people. But there are few people who are responsible like us . And we will work to raise awareness of other people. Maybe our work can be an example for them. We also have little friends among us. The team quickly got to work. They collected the plastic waste around one by one. When it was time for the plastic bottle, the plastic bottle said goodbye to all its plant friends. These people were environmental volunteers and they said they would send us for recycling. I believe them. We are built to make people's lives easier. But people are really ungrateful. But there are also some good people. These are those good people and they came to save us. I hope we go to a recycling factory. And we become clean and useful items again.

All the plastics said that they wholeheartedly agreed with him and were very happy. Environmentalists loaded them onto a truck. They set out to take him to a factory. When we reach a sufficient number, the factory will take us for recycling. This will be my second recycling. Technology has advanced a lot now. After drinking it, he was too lazy to throw it away, crumpled it and threw it on the ground. A few hours later I found myself between the teeth of a dog. I begged the dog to let me go. But he didn't understand me and didn't let me down. He played with me for a while. Then he took me into the forest and threw me under a bush. I met a lot of trees here. I spent a few months here. I became friends with the trees. They helped me a lot. Then an environmentalist team came to the forest. They collected me and all the plastics and loaded them into a truck and we were brought here. I owe a lot to those people. Moreover, there were small children among them. I guess not all kids are irresponsible. Some are truly environmentally conscious and respectful children. They have been sterilized. They were filled with water again. They were sent to the area where the parcels were located to be packed. Which customer would buy him this time? It was really exciting. They placed him and his friends in a box. And the Plastic Water Bottle started a new adventure.



When the trip was over, they moved the boxes to a small grocery store. The market owner placed the plastic water bottles in the aisles. Soon a cheerful boy and his mother entered the market. The boy told his mother that he was very thirsty. His mother said they would buy some more food and drinks and have a picnic in the woods near a park. The boy and his mother also bought the plastic water bottle and came to the cashier to pay. Cashier: \"Would you like a bag?\" The boy's mother said: \"No, we do not use plastic bags unless we need them because they harm the environment.\" At that time, he realized that the family that bought the plastic bottle was an environmentally conscious family and was very happy. The mother and child excitedly exited the market and walked into the forest with the family man waiting for them. They want to have a picnic in a beautiful part of the forest. Finally, they found a suitable area and settled down. After settling in, they took out the materials they bought. When the plastic bottle came out of the bag, he found himself in the woods where it had been brought by the dog earlier. He was very happy. He started talking to his old friends again. Their speech was like branches rustling in a gentle breeze. The family thought it was due to the fact that the weather was slightly windy. But in fact, all the trees were always welcoming the plastic bottle with one mouth. In the meantime, the boy began to lay down on the floor and write his poetry homework given to him by his teacher. The poem was about recycling plastics.
