First Aid Courses HLTAID001 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. TMG College Australia provides the training for HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation that will give you the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This single-unit course is designed for people who want to learn how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The learners will be able to respond to an emergency, perform the CPR procedures and communicate details of the incident. HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid Resuscitation This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response in an emergency in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. This course is designed for those who wish to gain a good understanding of first aid and those that are or wish to be- come a designated first aider in their workplace. It is also an excellent course to undertake even for those who just wish to learn about first aid. This single-unit course will provide the participants with the skills and knowledge to provide a first aid response in an emergency. This qualification meets the requirement, set out in the Code of Practice, for a Senior First Aid Person. The course HLTAID003 includes HLTAID001 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTAID002 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support. HLTAID004 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting. This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children, and adults in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. This course applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs. This single-unit is recognised as the required training for first aider’s in the workplace. It is recognised by the various ‘Workcover’ authorities throughout Australia when completed with the HLTAID003 Provide First Aid. 4

$1.2 Billion Dollars Provided for Traineeships / Apprenticeships for New and Existing Employees Employer Wage Subsidy: • Wage subsidy of 50% up to $28,000 - $7,000 paid per quarter per eligible Apprentice or Trainee • The subsidy is available to employers of any size or geographic location. • Applies to New Workers • Applies to Existing Workers who transfer from a casual employment arrangement to a part-time or full-time Australian Apprenticeship; or transfer from a part-time employment arrangement to a fulltime employment arrangement. • The subsidy is available for wages paid from 5 October 2020 to 30 September 2021. Is there a limit to the number of Boosting Traineeship/ Apprenticeship Commencements per Employer? There is no limit. Employers can receive a subsidy under Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements for any number of apprentices or trainees, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Qualifications: When your Australian Apprentice or Trainee enrols in a qualification from Certificate II to Diploma levels Exclusions: The Boosting Apprenticeship commencement subsidy is not available for any apprentice receiving: • Supporting Apprentices and Trainee funds • Job Keeper • Where an employer is eligible for multiple subsidies, the employer will need to choose which payment best supports their circumstances. 6 PLUS You may also be entitled to the following Employer Incentives
