W = mg di mana / where: m = jisim objek / object’s mass g = pecutan gravity / gravitational acceleration Unit bagi berat ialah Newton / N Unit for weight is Newton / N Unit bagi jisim ialah kg Unit for mass is kg W = mg G=W/m Unit bagi g ialah N kg-1 / Unit for g is N kg-1 2. Berat suatu objek berubah apabila objek diletakkan di kawasan medan graviti yang berlainan. The weight of an object varies when the object is placed at different strength of gravity field. 3. Medan graviti Bumi yang tidak seragam menyebabkan berat suatu objek berbeza-beza mengikut tempat. The uneven gravitational field of the Earth causes the weight of an object to vary by place.
