HIGHLIGHTS FOR ODD SEMESTER ACADEMIC YEAR 2021 - 2022

SEMESTER ORIENTATION 16th July 2021 IN SEMESTER ORIENTATION AN OVERALL ORIENTATION OF ALL THE WORKING OF THE EXTENSION WORK TEAM WAS GIVEN TO THE VOLUNTEERS . ALSO IT WAS AN INTRODUCTORY SESSION TO ALL THE ACTIVITIES OF EXTENSION WORK TEAM AS WELL AS AN INTRODUCTION TO THE CORE TEAM. SO A BASIC ORIENTATION OF ENTIRE WORKING WAS DELIVERED IN THIS MEETING.

MOCK CET TEST DATE: 18th Aug 2021 to 1st Sept 2021 Publication work for Online Practice Test of MHT-CET conducted by TCET for 12th standard students was done by the members of extension work team .

GROUP DISCUSSION ON SOCIAL CAUSE 3RD SEPTEMBER,2021 THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BROUGHT GREAT DIFFICULTIES FOR EVERYONE AND ESPECIALLY FOR STUDENTS. SCHOOLS WERE SHUT DOWN FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND STUDENTS STARTED FACING MANY PROBLEMS. SLOWLY AND EVENTUALLY THE SCHOOLS STARTED BUT THEY WEREN’T THE SAME AS EARLIER, EVERYTHING WAS SHIFTED IN THE ONLINE MODE AND SO WERE THE SCHOOLS. BUT MANY STUDENTS FACED ISSUES IN THE ONLINE MODE.

IDEA PRESENTATION ON CHILDREN LITERACY 4TH SEPT 2021 A MEETING CONDUCTED BY TCET EWT FOR THE PLANNING OF TAKE THE SESSION FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS DURING THE PANDEMIC SITUATION . THE MAIN AGENDA OF THE MEETING WAS TO PLAN HOW WE CAN GO OFFLINE ON STREETS AND SPREAD AWARENESS REGARDING EDUCATION IN THIS WHOLE SITUATION.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION 6TH-10TH SEPT 2021 The extension work team held a poster competition for all the volunteers and the topic for the same was social causes. We received a great participation from most of the volunteers and many creative digital as well as handmade posters for the same.

OFFLINE VISIT TO SCHOOL 26TH SEPT 2021 THE CORE MEMBERS ALONG WITH THE FACULTY VISITED SHRI RAM VIDYA MANDIR FOR AN ORIENTATION AND AN INTERACTIVE SESSION . ALL THE MANAGERS AND LEADERS INTERACTED WITH THE STUDENTS AND INFORMED THEM ABOUT ALL THE ONE TO ONE ACTIVITY WHICH ARE PLANNED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

ONLINE TEACHING TRAINING SESSION 29TH SEPT 2021 A BASIC TRAINING SESSION WAS CONDUCTED WHERE IN OUR FACULTY MEMBER GUIDED US ABOUT HOW TO TEACH THE STUDENTS AS WELL AS ABOUT HOW THE CONTENT SHOULD BE DELIVERED. BASICALLY IN THIS SESSION ALL THE DOUBTS OF THE VOLUNTEERS WERE CLEARED ABOUT TAKING THE TEACHING SESSION .

SWACHATA PAKHWADA 2nd Oct 2021 Through this activity we tried to spread awareness regarding cleanliness and personal hygiene amongst the students of Vidya vikas . They were taught about the importance and pros of keep ourselves and our environment clean and hygienic. Also awareness was spread regarding the diseases caused by unhygienic conditions in the environment. And lastly how we can fight against this.

ESSAY WRITTING COMPETITITION 5th-12th Oct 2021' The competition was a huge success with positive feedback. After motivating the students about how such competition will create an environment for active participation and team learning, all students became a part of the competition with great enthusiasm. Moreover, many got to learn a lot about areas where they should strive to work, to create a better society. This activity helps the student to connect with each other with their ideas.

POEM AND QUOTES COMPETITION 5TH- The extension work team held 18TH an Poem / quote competition OCT for all the volunteers and the 2021 topic for the same was social causes. We received a great participation from most of the volunteers and many creative poems/quotes as well . What’s better than to pen down our thoughts about such social causes and have a platform to address them?

VEDIC MATHS SESSION 7 TH OCT 2021 A Vedic Maths session was conducted for all the volunteers by 2 of the leaders of extension work team. This session was for the volunteers to get a better idea of teaching as well as to calculate quickly. The session was helpful and also the volunteers inculcated those skills and tricks in their session as well.

ROADMAP TO ENGINEERING EDUCATION The Roadmap to Engineering Education was an webinar series on admission process and career guidance for those who are mapping to take professions in Engineering and Technology. Date: OCTOBER 16th , 2021 To OCTOBER 18th , 2021

FREE VACCINATION DRIVE Date: 28th Oct, 21 The free vaccination drive was conducted by the college where in some of the volunteers of extension work team were volunteering for the same.

VIDYA VIKAS EDUCATION ALL SATURDAY ACTIVITY The teaching session are conducted by the extension work team for Vidya Vikas on every Saturday for students of 1st to 10th. In this session different topics were covered like basic grammar, maths, interactive and fun session also quiz and riddles for lower grades .

SHRI RAM VIDYA MANDIR ALL SUNDAY ACTIVITY THE ONE TO ONE TEACHING SESSION ARE CONDUCTED BY THE EXTENSION WORK TEAM FOR SHRI RAM VIDYA MANDIR ON EVERY SUNDAY FOR THE STUDENTS OF 8TH 9 TH AND 10TH.

ONLINE DIWALI CELEBRATION 30TH OCT 2021 A Diwali celebration session was conducted for the students of Vidya v Vikas. In this session, students were told the story behind Diwali, why we celebrate it and why is it called the festival of lights. Also they were taught to make homemade lamps and also were told to not burst crackers and celebrate a safe Diwali.

Video Making For Students Academic Year 2021-22' The video making session is conducted to help the students to learn at their own pace by watching the recorded lecture whenever they want .

INTERVIEWS 10TH NOVEMBER Interview of COVID yodha as we know from last 2 years we are fighting with pandemic in that there are some brave warrior who are helping us and our manager got opportunity to take interview of such heroes there was one police man who was risking his life to save our lives and one social worker who was bringing awareness among people about vaccine and felicitated by giving them a certificate

MAGAZINE 2021-22 EPIPHANY, the magazine of the year 2021-22, was made where in the overall theme of the magazine was social causes .Also it included different articles, poems, quotes, posters, interviews and many more. 15th Oct -16th Nov
