Admin Corner Welcome back to Metro E everyone! We are so excited to start our 2021-2022 school year. We know this year will be full of new experiences and exciting challenges. We are so excited to see all of our Bucs back on campus and ready to learn.. With Love, Mr. Crabtree and Mrs. Cantu Welcome back, Metro E family! Counselor’s Corner Welcome back!!! We are so excited to see everyone back. 2020 had its ups and downs for everyone. Parents, if you or your child need any help transitioning back to school, please let me know. Mrs. Licon Counselor Please remember to self -screen every day before school. Aug 9th - Meet the Teacher 10:00 - 11:00 - Pre-K- 2nd Grade 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - 3rd - 6th Grade 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Families with children in multiple grade levels. Please join us in your child’s classroom for the first 30 minutes to meet your child's teacher. The last 3o minutes will be in the auditorium to provide school procedures and answer questions. Please feel free to bring any school supplies at this time to ease the load for our Bucs on the First Day of School! 10th - First Day of School! School begins at 7:50 a.m. Please make sure to be on time and ready to go. We are going to have a great day! Reminder that breakfast and lunch will be provided daily at no charge.

Tryouts are Sept. 1st @ 3:15-4:00 p.m. Only 4th, 5th, and 6th graders may tryout. All students wanting to tryout must have a permission slip turned in by Sept. 1st at 3:15 p.m. to Mrs. Rodriguez, room 125. August 24th - Pre-K-2 Open House 5-6 p.m. August 26th - 3-6 Open House 5-6 p.m. Event will be in person, but we will conduct group portion via Zoom for those who cannot attend Meeting ID: 830 3755 2736 Passcode: metroe

Breakfast ● Pre-K-5 will have breakfast in the classroom, while 6th grade will eat in the cafeteria from 7:30-7:50 a.m. Lunch Routines ● No outside lunches ● No lunch visits or drop-offs ● Students can bring a packed lunch of course. Parties ● All drop off party items need to be delivered before school starts. Dropping off Snacks ● All items need to be dropped off before school starts.

Water Bottles ● Please bring water bottle every day, we have refill stations around the campus. ● We do not have water bottles or cups. Tardies School starts at 7:50 a.m. If you are late, you are required to bring your child to the front and sign them in. Please do not drop them off in the parking lot. Medications- Please meet with Nurse to arrange drop-off. Court Documents-Please provide us with any updated court documents that pertain to school, such as visitation.

Drop-Offs No child should get out of car or be dropped-off before 7:30 a.m. K-6 Parents can walk their child up to front entrance and say their goodbyes. Parents may not enter the main building before or after school. Pre-K parents may enter through the gate and only go to their child’s class.
