Cricket Cricket is the most popular bat-and-ball game all over the world. The modern cricket game was developed in England in the 16th century. Olympics Pierre De Coubertin In every four years, athletes from all over the world compete in a unique event called Olympics. The Olympic games began in 776 BC. Later, they were revived by Pierre De Coubertin and Dimitrios Vikelas. The Summer Olympics are also known as the Games of the Olympiad. They have been held every fourth year, starting from 1896.
