Senior Retail Trainer Alex Balangue and Retail Trainer Jorge Godoy spearheaded the learning sessions that were conducted through mixed of classroom and online activities. Jon Sison and Tim Villaluz of Retail Engineering and Lubricants Departments, respectively, took time to share valuable information about our products and procedures. PTT’s standards of safety, service and cleanliness were also given an emphasis during the discussion. “When you speak of PTT, first thing that comes to mind is our gasoline stations, that’s why we continually teach all our employees that we are part of the brand,” says Balangue. KM on Workplace Disinfection Collaborating with a third-party office disinfection service provider, the QSSHE team held a Knowledge Management (KM) session last May 21, 2021 on proper workplace disinfection for operations personnel. Conducted through online, the KM session was aimed at sharing some knowledge on disinfection best practices, particularly in the workplace, as part of the preventive measure to address the spread of COVID 19 virus and other infectious diseases. The team of QSSHE’s Jose Solomon focused on the discussion on some basic information on Disinfection, together with Best Practices and Techniques.

JUNE 2021 Managing Mental Health During Pandemic The HR Department’s TGIF KM series recently conducted the second part of its Wellness Webinar on Managing Mental Health During Pandemic with Dr. Gia Sison as an invited resource person who tackled the topic on how to take care of mental health especially with the stress brought by the COVID 19 pandemic. About 54 PTT employees who attended the webinar were given some techniques on how to cope up with the stress. Dr. Sison, a doctor specializing in Occupational Medicine, is the Chief Medical Officer at Global TeleHealth Incorporated, which runs the KonsultaMD, a 24/7 health hotline service. Café Amazon’s Series of Promos in May Café Amazon launched a series of local store marketing and nationwide promos in May beginning with its “Deal for Two: One for You, One for Mom” promo where customers got to purchase two Kiwi Frappe for only P199 or a P41 off. The three-day promo last May 8-10 was offered at all Café Amazon stores. In another promo, Café Amazon has partnered with Grab Food Philippines on the latter’s “Taste the World” promo, giving away 50% discount or a maximum of P150 discount to its customers at all its Metro Manila stores. Café Amazon SM Center Lemery in Batangas, meanwhile, launched its loyalty program where customers have to collect stamps to earn corresponding freebies. This promo runs until August 31, 2021.
