JANUARY 2020 VOL. 9 NO. 04 ISSN: 2449-4674 PTT PHILIPPINES IN 2 VIRTUAL TRADE SHOWS The current pandemic situation brought many trade shows to the virtual realm with PTT Philippines as among the active partners, particularly in the recent Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce (SBFCC) and the Manila International Auto Show’s (MIAS) WIRED. The SBFCC Business Expo last Dec. 10-11 was conducted online for Subic Bay locators and Olongapo City businesses. PTT Philippines, particularly its PTT Lubricants line, showcased its products during expo. Similar activities were also conducted by PTT during the MIAS WIRED virtual expo last Dec. 16-20, joining other global brands in the five-day event.

JANUARY 2021 The Retail Training team headed by Jonathan Espino has launched a 10-day Knowledge Management series specifically designed for the new batch of retail marketers to help them familiarize in the day-to-day operations of a gasoline station. The learning sessions held on Dec. 1-10, 2020 were conducted both online and limited face-to-face, observing strict implementation of safety protocols. Resource persons from within the organization were invited to talk on their respective filed of expertise. Corporate Communication’s Jay Julian, who was with the Department of Labor before, tackled the topics on Crisis Communication and some basics on labor laws relative to statutory monetary benefits for marketers to guide the station Dealers. The Academy formulated the comprehensive course outline for marketers to fully understand their core functions based on their job duties and responsibilities. PTT Foundation’s Mission of Hope brings Christmas spirit to children, farmers The team of PTT Philippines Foundation, Inc. brought its Mission of Hope Annual Christmas Gift Giving Drive to various civic organizations to give out gifts for children and food packs for farmers of Barangay Castanas in Sariaya, Quezon last Dec. 17-23, 2020. Some 250 children from ACCT, ACTION, Center for Youth, SDC, Jireh, Ninos, Pag-asa Center, Preda and Sacrifice Valley received their Christmas gift from the Mission. On the other hand, farmers in Sariaya, who were victims of the recent typhoons received food donations during the outreach program activities.

JANUARY 2021 A social media promo was launched in December to share the spirit of Christmas to PTT online followers and subscribers. The participants were encouraged to nominate their chosen beneficiary to whom they want to share light, love, and hope during the season. Winners were to be chosen based on the story of their chosen beneficiary. One winner will receive P10,000 worth of Café Amazon drinks and four more winners will each receive P10,000 worth of giveaways. Select Café Amazon stores launched the “2 for P190” promo last December with its best-selling Iced Thai Milk Tea and Iced Green Tea Latte that were up for grab. The promo that ran from December 9-15, 2020 were launched at Café Amazon stores in Edsa Veterans and Project 4 in Quezon City; McKinley in Taguig; Pansol in Calamba, Laguna; Bravo Business Center and SM Center in Batangas; and Bacoor in Cavite. Last Dec. 6, Cafe Amazon Project 4 also launched its anniversary promo with its one-peso Ice Thai Milk Tea or Iced Green Tea Latte for every purchase of any Iced Coffee. During the month, Café Amazon also introduced its seasonal drink called Merry Extreme Choc with two variant flavors – the Choco Banana Lava and the Butterscotch Coffee Lava. As a year-ender, the “Share-a-Cup, Share-a-Joy” Buy 1, Get 1 promo on best-selling coffee was also launched nationwide. PTT FAMILY GATHERS VIRTUALLY FOR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GET-TOGETHER Technology has brought PTT Family together despite the pandemic. Using Microsoft Teams, PTT Family was able to gather for the traditional Christmas party, this time, virtually given the current situation. Last December 18, officers and staff of PTT Philippines from its offices in Makati, Subic, Clark, Cebu, and Batangas successfully conducted the annual get-together right at the comfort of their respective homes. The technology made the party like the normal way where everyone came out with a hat created in their most creative way. New employees were also able to show off with their respective group’s presentation coupled with a pre-recorded singing contest that made the event even more exciting. Some members of the Family also received their Loyalty Awards, while a special citation was given to Nodea Valle who made it to the 2020 Ten Outstanding Freeport Workers. Games and raffles added fun to the activities. PTT Philippines Corporation President & CEO Thitiroj Rergsumran and PTT Philippines Trading Corporation President & CEO Danilo Alabado capped the night with their respective Christmas messages.

JANUARY 2021 Pregnant women from at least six towns in Quezon Province have received facemasks and face shields under the “Pamaskong Handog Para sa Natatanging Ina” (Christmas Gift for Outstanding Mothers) yearend project. Funded by PTT Lucena Restroom 20, the project that was initiated by Quezon Dealer Evalor Almendras also gave out baby dresses to soon-to-be moms. The December activities were conducted in the towns of Lucban, Mauban, Pagbilao, Sampaloc, Sariaya, and Tayabas. We tell stories to provide people with access to a better future.
