L1.21N2ON.O0.504ISSISNS:N2:424494-496-476474 Retail Training Support for 2 stations in Retail North Dealers apprised of govt’s fuel marking program Joint teams from the Legal, Corporate Communications, QSSHE, and Retail Training Departments have conducted a series of Knowledge Management Sharing sessions with PTT Dealers on the implementation of the government’s Fuel Marking Program that aims to curb oil smuggling in the country. Atty. Francisco “Thirdz” Javier of the Legal Department and QSSHE’s Jose Solomon spearheaded the discussion on the legal bases, implementing rules, technical marking processes, and other concerns relative to the program. The KM sessions conducted last April 20 to 27 also served as a venue for Dealers to raise their concerns and clarify some gray areas on the program implementation. The sessions conducted through online also served as an opportunity to prepare Dealers for proper handling of the situation in the event that their stations would be visited by authorities for a field testing. A total of 125 participants composed of Dealers and station representatives joined in the KM sessions that was also conducted separately for the Marketing team (Retail & Commercial). Retail Training’s Jonathan Espino and CorpComm’s Jonah Angeles also helped facilitate the activities. Fuel marking is mandated under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act as a measure against the smuggling of petroleum products.

MAY 2021 PTT Foundation donates food to QCPD’s ‘KYUSIna ng Bayan’ In support of the community-oriented policing program of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and as part of PTT Philippines Group’s on-going corporate social responsibility projects, PTT Philippines Foundation. Inc. (PTTPFI) has donated sacks of rice and assorted essential vegetables to Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) for its “KYUSIna ng BAYAN” Project. The program aims to provide food supplies to residents of depressed areas in Quezon City affected by the pandemic. Distribution of food essentials were made thru Police Mobile and fixed stalls in various areas identified as most vulnerable. In a simple turn-over held at the QCPD’s Camp Karingal Head Quarters, Police District Director Brig Gen. Antonio C. Yarra and Deputy District Director for Operations Police Colonel Anthony B. Maghari, formally received from PTTPFI Paul Senador the donated food supplies as assisted by PTT CSR Officer Dennis Cuarto and Jose Chen of Phil. Tiugan Foundation. Lubao 2 station in Pampanga re-opened PTT Philippines has successfully reopened its Lubao 2 station in Pampanga with Mr. Ed and Ms. Marivic Lazo joining the roster of the company’s newest dealers in the growing and expanding PTT Family. Representing PTT in the ribbon cutting ceremony was Academy Manager Jonathan Espino who also delivered the welcome remarks. Also in attendance during the simple opening activities were relatives and friends of the new retailer with PTT’s Retail Marketing North Team headed by their Assistant Manager Donna De la Cruz, Assigned Marketer Jill Castro, other staff from the Retail Training & Café Amazon.

MAY 2021 HR holds series of webinars in April A series of webinars for PTT employees were recently conducted by the HR Department with topics ranging from financial wellness to social security and to defensive driving. Last April 8, the “TGIF Wellness Webinar: Taking Steps Towards Financial Wellness” was facilitated by the BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation to provide awareness to PTT employees on how to take good care of their finances and some basics on investing. On April 23, the discussion on the Employees Compensation Program continued with an officer from the Employees Compensation Commission facilitating the webinar, particularly on the benefits from ECC program and some changes in their process brought by the pandemic. This webinar was followed by the “Job Car Insurance Claim Procedures & Defensive Driving Webinar (Batch 2)” last April 30 intended for the marketing department and other employees with assigned job car. Representatives from the MAA General Assurance Philippines, Inc. and New Canaan Insurance Agency facilitated the discussion that focused on defensive driving, insurance claims procedures, and PTT’s company code of discipline, among others. Around 150 PTT employees joined in the three webinar sessions. Virtual Training for PTT SRP Cebu conducted In support of the re-opening of PTT SRP, retail trainers Jorge Godoy and Arnold Novales, recently executed a comprehensive two-day virtual training via Microsoft Teams for its entire station personnel that include station supervisor, forecourt cashier and forecourt attendants. The discussion has focused on the Service Station Safety, Customer Relations, Product Knowledge, Forecourt Service Steps, Procedures on How to Safely Serve the Customer in the New Normal & Basic Cashiering were taught. Academy Manager Jonathan Espino and Senior Trainer Alex Balangue pitched in their expertise in delivering best practices on the day-to-day operations during which they pointed out the formula to winning their customers. PTT SRP is operated by Ms. Charissa Ann Dilao whose husband is also the Dealer of PTT Bogo.

MAY 2021 OSH Training for workers The QSSHE team led by Jose Solomon has conducted an “8-Hour Safety and Health Seminar for Workers” for the initial batch of PTT participants, as part of PTT Philippines’ safety and health program and in compliance with the Department of Labor’s Department Order No. 198 on the implementation of the Occupation Safety and Health Standards. The mandatory 8–hour Safety and Health Seminar was conducted through Microsoft Teams with a separate session for personnel without an access to the internet. Participants were able to understand the rationale behind OSH, including the Application of Hazards Identification, and Risk Assessment and Control, among others. CaféAmazon launches series of promos For the month of April, Café Amazon launched a series of local store marketing and nationwide promos starting with a 10% discount on all SM employees at Café Amazon SM North EDSA and SM Center Lemery. The promo ran the whole month of April. Metro Manila stores and Café Amazon Bravo Business Center, meanwhile, also offered 10% discount on Foodpanda from April 5 to 30, 2021. During the second week of April, a nationwide promo was also launched where customers are given a P100 online voucher for every 10 receipts with a minimum purchase of P200. This promo which started last April 15 will run until July 15. The month of April ended with Café Amazon participating in one of Grabfood’s promos entitled “Summer Steals Bahaycation.” Under this promo, customers will get a 30% discount by using the promo code BAHAYCATION30 for a minimum purchase of P500, maximum discount of P450. The said promo ended May 2, 2021.
