APRIL 2021 VOL. 12 NO. 04 ISSN: 2449-4674 Retail Training Support for 2 stations in Retail North Retail Eng’g Team Holds Webinar on Environmental Permits, Reports The Retail Engineering Team led by Manager Jonathan Sison recently organized and conducted a free webinar on “Environmental Permits and Reports” aimed at educating the dealers and PCOs on environmental permitting, focusing on the importance of complying with the requirements and submitting environmental reports on time to regulatory government bodies such as the DENR and LLDA.. The webinar was attended by the Retail Marketing Team, dealers and designated PCOs of both CODO and DODO stations in NCR and Region 3. Earlier, the same seminar that was conducted in collaboration witn Broadfield Engineeringf Technologies and Integrated Services was also held in Region 4-A and Cebu. The Retail Training Team of Jonathan Espino also supported and participated in the webinar.

APRIL 2021 ICT talks about keeping our files safe In the continuing Team Talks series of the Corporate Communications Department, the ICT Department was recently featured and discussed the basics of safely storing data in our computer. ICT Head Mancy Joaquin and Office 365 Trainor Robert Garcia talked about “OneDrive vs SharePoint: Keeping Your Files Safe and Always on Hand” in a session that was attended by 69 participants. Apart from reminding the participants on some tips on how to make our files secured especially with the proliferation of malware or malicious software that is out to destroy computer programs or extract data to unsuspecting victims. Also, the ICT Team discussed ways on how to maximize the applications in our computer for more productive use of the programs. Academy prepares 2 C. Luzon stations’ readiness to operate PTT Lubao 2 in Pampanga has re-opened under PTT’s newest Dealer Ms. Marivic Lazo following the Commissioning conducted by the Retail Training Team of Jonathan Espino, in support of the Retail North that was also preparing for the opening of PTT Mariveles in Bataan. Personnel of the two PTT stations also underwent a comprehensive training on forecourt operations, safety, customer service, and product knowledge, among others. During the Commissioning, the Academy Team also conducted the Authorized Receiver Training Course the new Dealer’s readiness in station operations.

APRIL 2021 HRs webinar series tackle Pag-IBIG, SSS, other insurance benefits The HR Department has conducted a continuation of its webinar series on Government Mandated Benefits, including the employees’ medical insurance coverage with resource persons from Etiqa Philippines, Pag-IBIG Fund, Social Security System, and MAA General Assurance Philippines. Last March 12, about 58 participants joined Etiqa Philippines’ discussion on Group Medical Benefits. It was followed by Pag-IBIG Fund’s talk on Guide on Pag-IBIG Membership, Contribution, and Program Updates last March 23 with 51 participants in attendance. Meanwhile, Guide on SSS Membership, Contribution, Program Updates were the topics last March 26 during which Job Car Insurance Claims Procedures & Defensive Driving Seminar was also included in the discussion. About 45 participants joined in this fourth part of the series. PTT Philippines Director for Corporate Support Paui Senador with the HR Team led the webinar series. Academy Senior Retail Trainer Alex Balangue and Jorge Godoy recently made a briefing with new employees in Marketing and Engineering Departments on how to go about the DxCare. A step-by-step training was made to ensure all processes within the system was understood. It was successfully held with strict observance of health and safety protocols. Round 2 of Vehicle Safety Training The Academy Team has concluded the second round of its vehicle safety training for PTT employees, particularly those with issued job cars to instill safety on the road. Apart from hands-on training and inspection of vehicles, participants also underwent a classroom discussion on the nitty-gritty of safety behind the wheels. Academy’s Jonathan Espino and Arnold Novales spearheaded the training sessions.
