ISSN: 2449-4674 AUGUST 2020 VOL. 6 NO. 02 LOREM IPSUM DOLOR TOP EXECS CALL FOR SOLIDARITY, HOPE IN BATTLING PANDEMIC Top executives of PTT Philippines recently addressed its employees to call for solidarity and hope amidst the COVID-19 pandemic that has already created a dent on the global economy. In a Town Hall session through a video conferencing, PTT Philippines Corporation (PTTPC) President & CEO Thitiroj Rergsumran and PTT Philippines Trading Corporation (PTTTC) President & CEO Danilo Alabado also thanked the PTT Family for their efforts to ensure business continuity despite the crisis. Rergsumran expressed his appreciation to the contribution of everyone for exerting efforts to make the business run despite the pandemic that has already affected many businesses not only in the industry but the whole of the global community. The PTTPC top exec has opted to remain in the country to personally lead the company despite the pandemic. He reminded all employees “to continue on observing safety protocols, remain healthy, maintain business continuity, be ready on possible COVID-19 second wave, and try to do the best in helping partners and the community. Mr. Alabado, on the other hand, called on the PTT Family to remain optimistic, saying that PTT Philippines has gone through a lot that it could survive the current crisis. He also rallied for the support of employees by doing their part in fighting the pandemic, “continue practicing safety, work as a team, observe what has been happening around, and pray.” Corporate Support Director Paul Senador and Academy Manager Jonathan Espino who served as moderators during the Town Hall session echoed the same sentiments and called the employees to uplift the spirit of everyone in the PTT Family.

AUGUST 2020 Newest PTT station in Cavite PTT has opened its newest service station in Noveleta, Cavite to further boost its presence in the province. The PTT Centennial, under the management of Magnum Gas Station, Inc. of Dealer CJ Nicolas had its soft opening last July 15. The station is located along the Centennial Highway in Barangay San Antonio 1. Forecourt trainings in 3 stations The Retail Training team led by Manager Jonathan Espino conducted its Forecourt Module Training in at least three PTT station during the month of July. The team went to PTT Centennial, PTT Limay, and PTT Duquit. The training includes Forecourt Modules 1, Cashier Training, Authorized Receiver, and Site Audit Walkthrough. They were conducted through classroom and hands-on activities with strict observance of social distancing and other safety protocols.

AUGUST 2020 Online KM on Mental Health The Team Talks Series tackled the mental health issue during the pandemic to clarify some myths and misconceptions. HR Assistant Hazel Campomanes, a licensed Psychometrician, conducted the series for three consecutive Fridays to share knowledge on the topic among PTT employees. Her third and final installment of the series also touched on the impact of social media to mental health and how to deal with it. Meanwhile, the Business Planning Development & Budget Department had its presentation on the New Input Templates for OPEX Budget to guide the employees on the new templates. SAP Business Intelligence Consultant Darwin Agustin and Acting Budget Control Officer Robin Munoz spearheaded the presentation.
