Treasurer, DAVCMC; Vice Chairman M L Khanna DAV Public School M L Khanna DAV Public School Heartfelt gratitude to the apostles of excellence who have been our great guides and even greater motivators. We wish to take the banner of DAV Dwarka family to the apogee under their benign guidance.

From the Principal’s pen… The might of the pen can never be undermined as it writes plaudits and writes off penury. It won’t be wrong to say that the learning experience in school is intrinsic in the preparation for life of children and the last two unprecedented years revolutionized the concept of teaching and learning all together. Who had thought that from papyrus scrolls to clay tablets to digitalization we will witness a time when schools will run from homes ! I concur with the famous English poet, John Dryden who said, “We first make our habits and then our habits make us.” It gives me immense pride to share with you that this citadel of learning fortified its learners with strong and right habits apart from providing culturally rich, empathetic and value driven education .The independent learners of school blazed their path by breaking the mould of routine as our facilitators meticulously monitored the learning outcomes. We connected not just electronically but also emotionally. Consequently, my class XII and X emblazed their path with triumphant feat in the AISSCE & AISSE 2021 result ,with the highest percentage being 98.4 % in Class XII & 99.2 % in Class X. The QPI of Class XII this year is an outstanding 81.86% with Aditi Yadav of Humanities stream securing 98.6% and Nishita Panda of Commerce securing 98.4%.A total of 12 students secured 90%and above. The towering QPI of Class X is 83.95 % and a total of 30 students secured 95% and above.

The year 2021 is a testimony to the fact that every limitation can be turned into an opportunity with perseverance and indomitable will. In this journey of spelling out success my badge of honours were these students who without disenchantment devoted themselves to online learning, my Psychology department that provided emotional support during the desperate times, my team of dynamic facilitators who were bestowed with MCE badges ,in order to bring quality in teaching ,and are now aiming for more, the English Department that walked an extra mile by holding Language Strengthening Sessions honing the young learners to have a good command over the language. The trail blazers associated with ATL engineered experiential learning invoking critical thinking, problem solving and keen analysis. The novelty of our school was HOPE for E3 emphasizing on the importance of positivity, happiness, creativity, sensitivity, love and hope in maintaining a good physical and mental health. Initiated last year HOPE for E3 is now gaining stature in terms of participation .The rendition in the Value Education sessions surely is a welcome addition . Our collaboration with Microsoft is going ahead as we are the Microsoft Showcase School for the seventh year in a row. So, the efforts didn’t cease and shall never. Indeed, we are more determined to seize every opportunity that helps us ameliorate. Not even for a fleeting second we felt bad about what we couldn’t do because we found out ways so that quality education could take place on diversified platforms. Our series of monthly assessment stimulated learning and with flipped classrooms ,the result touched the heights of the heaven. The most novel of all the initiatives was the sessions taken by not just the facilitators but the students who shared their valuable insight. All this and much more is being done at our school where a student is the focal point and the school is responsible for his overall development. My message will be incomplete if I don’t acknowledge the parents who walked hand-in-hand sprouting the blessings of their cooperation .The Managing Committee, can’t be thanked enough, that guided us and imbued us with vigour at every initiative of ours. Our strength of purpose helped us achieve the coveted ! Ms Monika Mehan Principal

Leading from the Front True leaders are catalysts in envisioning and mitigating problems. Glimpses of our Principal Ms. Monika Mehan deliberating on various issues on varied platforms for the sustainable development of nation.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Anjaneya Sahu First of all, I would like to thank my honourable Class X teachers who always supported me whenever I faced problems in understanding the concepts. If I talk about my mantra for success, consistent studies along with revision on regular basis is required to excel in the exam, giving equal importance to all subjects. Conceptual clarity is more important than mugging up things. It is because of my parents' continuous support and God's blessings that I am able to witness such a splendid result. I would like to wish a very good luck to my dear juniors. It is well said that to really change our life we need to change our priorities. Discipline, dedication and determination, these 3 Ds are the ingredients to success. Losing hope and underestimating your potential just because of fear of failure, always pulls you back and gets you deviated from your path. We should never be afraid of failing but we should always try and give our best, and the result will only be the Amitansh Kesharwani consequence of our efforts. We should always Class X have one goal at a time and we should work with all our blood, sweat and tears to achieve it. Keeping one goal at a time helps us to be focussed. Also, a good schedule, with all the things balanced, constitute the main framework for the path of success. Having good friends and supportive family is just like icing on the cake. Being calm and patient always boosts one’s confidence. These are my mantras for success.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Vision Dubey The key to success is what all are curious Class X about, but actually there exists no key having which will make you successful! Obedience towards teachers , following their precious guidance, perseverance , are what I believe are the main ingredients of my success. I shall be sticking to the same for every goal I set in future. Also being analytical in approaching your goal is mandatory to ensure that your hard work pays off. Manav Sukhija Prepare effectively with a study plan. Class X Set realistic and achievable goals. It will not only help in focusing better but also motivate you to study, thereby giving a sense of achievement and boosting your confidence level. Focus should be on revising chapters with high weightage and important topics. Being well- versed with these chapters will help to score more in boards. Solve more and more mock tests as it will help to strategize how much time should be spent on a particular question or section, etc., and allow enough time for revision. Last but not least, take adequate breaks between long study sessions. This will not only ensure focused learning but also re energized mind.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Ankur Mukherjee I was ecstatic to know that I have scored 99.2% Class X in class 10th. First and foremost I want to thank the Almighty, then my parents and my teachers who supported me a lot in these difficult times I know the time was challenging and we were also unable to take our board examinations but still because of the support of our teachers, our academics didn't suffer. Moreover, I focused on the positive aspects of this pandemic. During this time I got a lot of time for self study and that I think is really one of the major reasons of my good result .I would advise all to remember that time will not stop for you, so no matter what's the situation just work hard and it will surely provide you the fruit of success. Misthi Gupta Indeed, my class 10th result is a great Class X pleasure for me. First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty for always being there with me at every step of my life. I am deeply indebted to my parents for being the most supportive and understanding and honorable Principal ma'am and all the teachers for always being by my side. Rather than pulling up my socks just before the exams, I believed in studying consistently for some hours throughout the year. There is no shortcut or trick for success; hard work and dedication is all it takes.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Asmi Jain Academic Session 2020-21, will always be the Class XII highlight in history, a year when no \"BOARD EXAMINATION\" was conducted. The chaos of the pandemic resulted in many uncertainties for the students, throughout the year, from online learning to amendments in the syllabus, changes in the paper pattern, postponement of exams, and eventually, cancellation of exams. It was a lot to think about and adapt. In the beginning, I used to be very impatient and crib about all these changes a lot but with the timely guidance from teachers, I managed to be always punctual and consistent with my assignments, holiday homework, projects and monthly unit tests. Whatever was taught in the class, I used to revise the same day followed by practising questions from the textbook and available resources on the internet, which helped me ace my assignments and tests. I never lost touch with writing and making notes ,which were of great help while attempting the preboard exams. As it is said, “All's well that ends well\" for we sailed through the choppy waters dauntlessly. A BIG CHEERS TO ALL MY TEACHERS. THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH US IN THIS COARSE JOURNEY AND MAKING IT REFINED. Kritika Singh Many people have a particular mantra they live Class XII by but unfortunately, I am not one of those people. I've never really had a planned life. So, the only thing I can enlist which has contributed to my success would be believing in myself till the very last moment. It doesn't matter how much you've learnt or how much you know, never compare yourself to others. You never know what will happen. Giving up just because somebody else knows more than you is the worst thing you can do to yourself. So, the only mantra of my success would be believing in myself.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES It is with immense pleasure I state that I have achieved the score that I had dreamt of before getting enrolled in class XI 2019-2020 batch. I had the fortune of being guided by the best teachers who taught me the subjects effectively and helped me grow as an overall accomplished individual. Nishita Panda The school provided me with many Class XII opportunities outside the curriculum, such as participation in cultural programs and business pitching competitions that helped me develop my soft skills. I will remain ever grateful to my mentor Geeta Ma’am for transforming me from a shy girl to an active contestant in many competitions. How can I forget to tag my other pillars of strength such as friendly Deepti Ma’am, firm Diksha Ma’am, passionate Jasmine Ma’am and idealistic Tamanna Ma’am!! I believe Success is a journey, not a destination. It is the culmination of regular practice, self-belief, discipline, and hard work. My sincere tips to learners is to listen to teachers especially during classes, be conscientious, and love what you do.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Tvisha My recipe for success has very simple three Class XII ingredients, hard work, consistency and perseverance. I would give the credits to the school for providing with support and guidance at every step and my family for always keeping me motivated. The key is to always try our best, no matter what the situation is ,and not giving up; that is what I believe makes all the difference. Aditi Yadav A million thanks to the Almighty for this Class XII euphoria. It's not just me or a handful of students but all of us passed with flying colours. Of course, we worked hard, but our teachers worked even harder. This year our studies were interrupted due to covid and when we all were gripped in despondence, our discreet and doughty teachers came to our rescue and paved way for such stupendous result. They truly deserve a 'dandvat pranam' for the efforts they have put in for us. I extend my heartiest thanks to respected Principal ma'am and the entire teaching staff. I would also like to thank my parents for supporting me whole heartedly.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Charu Goswami \"It's hard to beat a person who never gives up\". Class XII These words summarize my journey of becoming one of the highest scorers in the class. I am not a child prodigy and neither was I born like Abhimanyu of Mahabharata who learnt to infiltrate the impenetrable 'chakravyuh' inside his mother's womb. I am just like any normal average student. I take time to learn things and often read a concept several times to make sense out of it. These are just a few things that I follow religiously irrespective of the outcome I get. The conceptual clarity, which I got during my online classes, played a pivotal role in it. There is no substitute for it. All my doubts and queries were clarified by my teachers with patience. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my beloved parents, all my teachers and Hon'ble Principal Ma’am Ms. Monika Mehan for their blessings. Dipali Bhalla Being amongst the top achievers of class XII Class XII sure feels unreal. I am truly indebted to my teachers whose guiding words encouraged me to do my best. Although there's no mantra to success, but being persistent and true to one's goals sure go a long way in making dreams come true.

Gratitude, Appreciation and Inspiration… SUCCESS STORIES Cheshta Bansal Everything is possible if you have desire, Class XII you can achieve anything if you have the fire. I always remember the sentence my teachers and parents used to tell me 'No work in this world is difficult and high, just the thing needed is your earnest will'. Without working hard and just by sitting idle no one can get success. You might fail numerous times but never let failure be the end as there is always light at the end of every tunnel. So, keep trying and forget all your worries and fright. 'Perseverance and consistency' is my mantra that has helped me achieve everything I have today. Utilising the time properly and not sticking to just textbooks, exploring and learning new things are the ways to match up with the pace of the world. Muskan Singroha The school and the teachers have given us Class XII more than we can think of. So, to all my juniors I would like to say that have faith in your teachers and school , work hard towards your goals and success will be yours.
