The Spotlight for this month is on our 8 new Help Desk Agents. Let’s welcome Dave, Tom, and Denise. So , Dave, Tom, and Denise what can you tell us about yourself? Hello All, My name is Dave and I’m happy to be part of the Helpdesk team and to be working with all of you. I started my career at Susquehanna back in May of 2004 as a member of the helpdesk. I worked with the helpdesk for 7 years and then moved to the IT Security team where my primary duty was Account Management, creating, modifying and terminating active directory, soarian, pharmacy, and various other software accounts. I also was responsible for setting up all exchange accounts, distribution groups and public folders access. I have been working in the IT field for 30+ years in various different roles. When I’m not messing around with computers, I enjoy watching football, Penn State and Steelers of course or binge watching a TV Series or a good movie. I also enjoy floating in the pool with a nice cool drink and listening to some good music, or now that they made it legal, lighting off some fireworks Hello everyone. My name is Tom and I have been with Susquehanna Health now UPMC for 28 years and have been in many positions from Safety & Security, Receiving and EMS. For the last 18 years I have been in the IT department first in Operations then In Customer Service once we merged where I have been the Team lead for the last 5 or 6 years. I enjoy working with the people we work with and have really enjoyed getting to communicate with the staff at Pittsburgh as we move forward in this voyage tobe one Help Desk. When not here I spend most of my time with my wife and our kids and 4grandkids. My first love was the fire service and EMS I spent 38 years as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and have pretty much retired from that other than providing support to my lo- Hi! I’m Denise, and I come to you from UPMC Susquehanna. I have worked for the Susquehanna Health System, in IT, for 34 years and have been doing customer service for approximately 20 years! I like to think that if I have helped one person today to do something correctly or to not do something again - I’ve done my job! 4

The Spotlight continued Let’s welcome Megan, Robert, and Matthew. So, Megan, Robert and Matthew what can you tell us about yourself? Hi my name is Megan and I joined the team on October 1st this year, however I've been with UPMC Susquehanna for a little over 6 years. My husband, Matt and I met on that ancient site called mySpace back in 2006 while he was station in Jack- sonville NC. We dated for a couple of years and got married on 7/4/2008. In Sep- tember 2012 he decided to not reenlist in the Marine Corp and instead go back to school at Penn College which is how we ended up in the Williamsport PA area. We like the area and have decided to call this home. We have 2 beagles named Reggie & Belle they both just celebrated their 10th birthdays this year. We both enjoy outdoor activities like 4wheeling, hiking, and zip lining. My name is Robert. I have worked in a variety of IT positions in the last 33 years. I spent 10 years in the US Naval Medical/Dental Corps in clinical pro- vider/Admin/IT roles and 23 years in the UPMC- Susquehanna IT depart- ment. While in the US Navy I had the opportunity to visit 10 countries and live in Europe and the Caribbean. I currently live in Mifflinburg, PA with my wife and two daughters (7 and 3). In my free time (see previous sen- tence) I enjoy travel , DIY projects, working on my home,repairing PCs and programming/re-programming computer games. Hello Everyone. My name is Matthew Bikle and I’m a Cyber Security stu- dent at Pennsylvania College of Technology. I started out as an intern under Susquehanna Health from there I moved up into an associate po- sition here. I enjoy gaming, hunting and working with my hands. 5

The Spotlight continued Let’s welcome Michael So , Michaelwhat can you tell us about yourself? My name is Michael Myers and live in Williamsport Pennsylvania with my wife Katie. We have 1 son who is 1 year old. I Have an associate’s degree in IT Technical support with a bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Management from Penn College. This is my first help desk position and have been at UPMC Susquehanna for almost 1 year with my previous job being a Sales Manager. In my off time I enjoy spending my time with family when the weather is nice we enjoy going to the park. We like to take family trips once a year to a place we have never been before. I also like playing games on the computer as well as D&D with family and friends. I am also in the process of deciding what desktop I wish to build for a gaming PC. 5
