ABOUT US At CIMCON Ligh�ng, we’re focused on shaping the future of smart ci�es by helping them become smarter, safer and more sustainable by providing solu�ons that maximize their street light infrastructure to both provide “smart ligh�ng” and to create a “street pole economy” that will help mone�ze assets located on or near the street light pole. Our twenty-five plus years of innova�on and experience in industrial automa�on and outdoor wireless applica�ons have been the driver in our crea�on of our industry leading smart ligh�ng controls and the first of its kind “NearSky” smart city pla�orm. Our ingenuity and drive have helped over 200 ci�es ranging from small municipali�es to large metropolitan areas in 30 countries move forward on their smart city journey. Our easy-to-use smart ligh�ng controls and NearSky pla�orm are fixture, network and device agnos�c and can sa�sfy the unique needs of any city. The NearSky smart city pla�orm provides superior data collec�on and analysis that lets a city gather, visualize and act on data at the street level to increase the efficiency of city opera�ons, improve the quality of life for city residents and visitors, and s�mulate economic ac�vity. Our team includes a wide range of professionals with many years’ experience working with ci�es and u�li�es in designing and implemen�ng smart city solu�ons. We understand the challenges that city leaders face and are here to assist from project design through implementa�on and providing managed services to give our customers the peace of mind that they need to know that they are inves�ng wisely in their smart city.
WHAT IS CORPORATE IDENTITY? WHY IS IT NEEDED? A corporate iden�ty is the manner in which a corpora�on, firm or business enterprise presents itself to the public. The corporate iden�ty is typically visualized by branding and with the use of trademarks,but it can also include things like product design, adver�sing, public rela�ons etc. Corporate iden�ty is a primary goal of the corporate communica�ons, in order to maintain and build the iden�ty to accord with and facili- tate the corporate business objec�ves. Some marke�ng specialists regard Corporate Iden�ty as the core of an organsa�on's existence, made up of its history, beliefs, philosophy, technology, people, its ethical and cultural values and strategies. Corporate Iden�ty also helps determine the posi- �oning of an organisa�on in terms of its markets and compe�tors. In general, it consists of a combinaion of visual elements amoun�ng to a corporate �tle, logo and suppor�ng devices commonly assembled within a set of corporate guidelines. These guidelines govern how the iden�ty is applied and usually include approved colour pale�es, typefaces, page layouts, fonts, and others. CIMCON So�ware (India) Pvt. Ltd. being the parent company within India has 4 main subsidaries namely, Smart City, Smart Water, Smart Ligh�ng, Smart Oil and Gas and other minor ones. Each of these subsidaries are spread all across the country which makes it important for not only for the parent company to have its own corporate iden�ty, but as an exten�on, each subsidary to have an extended individual iden�ty. The one that is presented here is CIMCON Ligh�ng Inc. which needs corporate iden�- ty established to maintain consistency not only all across the country, but also the branches outside the country to help it dis�ngush itself from other subsidaries which provide other services.
ABOUT THE LOGO CIMCON Lighting, Inc. Green is used in outer circle of dots symbolising sustainability. Blue is used in the inner circle of dots symbolising light. Grey is used in the name, the colour derived from the products themselves to balance the industrial nature of the products. CIMCON Lighting, Inc.
