This Training was a learning experience that aims to train youth educators on how to bring personal development elements while working in outdoor context. The manual WILD - a youngster manual for future outdoor leaders was created in order to illustrate, share and spread memories that can then be reused for the knowledge of what was learned in the project. We decided to call it WILD by its very nature as a content. A varied, wild, evocative and even entertaining content that we hope will make it clearer what you really do when talking about outdoor. what if publiched by Vagamondo Crew 5 outdoor The term outdoor education has been in use for much longer than 20 years. It refers to integration of theoretical knowledge with practice in nature and outdoor environments (Bartunek, Brügge, Fenoughty, Fowler, Hensler, Higgins, Laschinki, Löhrmann, Neißl, Neuman, Nicol, Seyfried & Szczepanski, 2002; Elliott & Davis, 2008). Learning does not always occur in a classroom environment; it may be achieved in such places as museums, zoos, botanical gardens, aqua parks, playgrounds, forests and rivers (Türkmen, 2010).The idea that education should be given in nature dates back to Aristotle and Plato. Years later, philosophers and scientists (including Rousseau, Locke, Schelling, Froebel, Basedow and Pestalozzi) have emphasised that children should frequently be given an opportunity to be in nature. Research shows that \"direct, ongoing experiences of nature in relatively familiar settings remains a vital source for children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development\" (Kellert, 2005:81). Proximity and daily exposure to natural settings increase the ability to focus and enhances cognitive abilities (Wells, 2000). \"We don't believe in tourists. We believe in explorers\"

OUTDOOR VALUES what are your values? Values represent one of the inner bases of our life, in fact our behaviors, our actions, the relationships we have with people dear to us or with others depend also and above all on our Values. But what are the values? Values for one person can be considered as: VERY DEEP CONVICTIONS, or VERY STRONG BELIEFS, that is all that is important to us. They represent what is Good for us, what is Right, what it is Sublime to do, to say, to think for ourselves and for others, on the contrary what is detached from Values, their opposite pole is what is evil, what that is wrong, what is to do, to say or to think. Every action of ours therefore, like all our behavior, words, thoughts or better our choices regarding what we want to do, say, or behave, depends above all on the Values that are important for us in our life. LOVE JENUARY 2020 WILD- A YOUNGSTER MANUAL FOR FUTURE OUTDOOR LEADERS & RESILIENCE WILD |  14 the soft values LOVE Love is another form of dedication, passion and consistent performance. Love comes in many shapes and in many forms. Loving nature should be one of the easiest things to do as an Outdoor leader and something that must come to us naturally. Love's value has many layers. Its beneficial effects manifest in our souls, our bodies, our belief systems, our economies, our social circles, our safe spaces, our thought processes, and our powers of will. Love \"lifts us up where we belong,\" reminding us that the universe is full of wonder. It's magical how love can inspire us and wake us up from the ennui. Love really gets our blood pumping! It's just with Love that u can effort for RESILIENCE. The definition of resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties. It's like sort a kind of Problem Solving skill. This could be also one of the most important value for people that have the desire to work in outdoors environments. Everything is unpredictable when we are talking about nature. To increase this value we need to Reject permanence, pervasiveness and personalization. Boost self-confidence through greater competence. Disavow perfectionism. Maintain high quality connections. It is pretty important to have people in your life who know you, love you, and support you— the authentic you.
