In particular, the guideline for fostering relationships with ASEAN’s trading partners after the signing of RCEP was laid down by viewing that ASEAN should expressly find trade opportunities in other markets with which ASEAN still doesn’t have FTA for instance ASEAN-Canada and accelerate the negotiations to upgrade the existing FTAs.
