27 Aug. 2008 Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, in his capacity as Honorary Advisor to the At Leisure Magazine, was part of a delegation with International Ambassadors and the top Management of the At Leisure Magazine to call upon Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to thank her for support to the Magazine. HRH the Princess graciously accepted a token of appreciation from Assumption University.

27 Aug. 2009 In recognition for his lifetime achievement or contribution to the astute scholarships in comparative religious studies, H.E. Archbishop Luigi Bressan of the Archdiocese of Trent was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Religious Studies, Honoris Causa, by Assumption University. The degree presentation ceremony taking place at Suvarnabhumi Campus was attended by the Papal Nuncio to the Kingdom of Thailand, six Catholic Bishops, Ambassadors from many countries as well as the academic representatives in Thailand.
