28 Nov. 2018 Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran attended the 100th Anniversary of the National Day of Romania. The Romania centenary celebrations recently hosted by H. E. Bogdan Badea, Romanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand took place at the Royal Sports and Polo Club.



11 Feb. 2019 The AU Games 2019 opening ceremony was officially marked by the mini marathon featuring the 3 KM and 6 KM mini marathon runs around the campus enthusiastically participated by lecturers, staff, students and interested individuals. Presided over by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, the mini marathons kicked off in front of the John Paul II Sports Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus.











15 Mar. 2019 On the occasion of their recent visit to Assumption University, H.E. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal, Minister, Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology, and H.E. Ahmed Afzal Ibrahim, Minister of State for Communication, Science and Technology, Republic of Maldives, met with the university executives including Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, who warmly welcomed the highly distinguished guests.







29 Apr. 2019 The holy mass, dedicated to H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn on the auspicious occasion of the approaching Royal Coronation Ceremony, was conducted at the AU grand Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort, Suvarnabhumi Campus on April 29, 2019. The blessed occasion, fully attended by the congregation of AU community members comprising top management team, administrators, faculty, staff, students, among many other members of the Montfortian Brothers of St. Gabriel in Thailand, AU alumni, and honored guests, was presided over by the honorable Bishop Joseph Chusak Sirisut, Bishop of Nakhon Ratchasima. The religious activity directed by Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice Rector for Moral Development Education, was as well participated by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, and Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, President Emeritus.











16 May 2019 On the occasion of their visit to Assumption University, H.E. Mr. OUK Sorphorn, Ambassador of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Thailand and his party paid a courtesy call to Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus, on May 16, 2019 at Hua Mak Cam- pus. During the meeting, these highly distinguished diplomatic guests discussed with the rector about the potential academic cooperation with the university.







23 May 2019 Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, joined other dignitaries commemorating the 15th Anniversary of the Republic of Poland joining the European Union. Hosted by H.E. Val de Mar Du Banfsky, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Thailand, the celebration took place on May 23, 2019 at the Alliance Francaise, Bangkok.







25 May 2019 Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, participated in the Passions of Leonardo Da Vinci on May 25, 2019 at Hyatt Regency, Bangkok.











27 May 2019 Joining other committee members of Ruamchit Normklao for Youth Foundation under the Royal Patronage, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, visited the Phum Siri Mangkhanusorn Building, Chulalongkorn Hospital, on May 27, 2019 to extend their best wishes for H.M. Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s soonest recovery from her ailment; presenting bouquets of flowers in front of her portrait and signing the visitors’ books.







10 Jun. 2019 Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, attended the “Portugal Day” recently hosted by H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto the Portuguese Ambassador to Thailand who welcomed distinguished guests to the occasion on June 10, 2019 at the Embassy of Portugal in Bangkok, Thailand.



27 Jun. 2019 Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, attended the United States Embassy reception themed “Hawaiian Luau” celebrating the 243rd Anniversary of American Indepen- dence. Hosted by the Chargé d’ Affaires Mr. Peter Haymond and Mrs. Dusadee Haymon, the occasion also participated by a number of AU students and alumni, took place at the Athenee Crystal Hall, Athenee Hotel.
