Wedding photography is one of the most important investments you will have for your wedding day. Meet Beth I'm Beth Locke, owner and photographer at Locke Valley Photography. I live in Southern Huntingdon County (conveniently off the turnpike!)- on a small farm with my 2 kiddos, husband and fur babies. Former army wife, we've lived a little bit of everywhere! Originally from Louisville Kentucky - I've lived in Texas, Connecticut and have finally been able to settle my roots here in Central Pennsylvania. ​ I love capturing those intimate, raw, and dreamy moments throughout a wedding day or the emotion and love between couples, parents, or children during portrait session. For couples-while I’m documenting your wedding, I operate somewhere between a fly on the wall and a member of your wedding party. I’m pretty good at reading a room, so I’ll know if you all need some words of encouragement, silly humor, or for me to stay quiet and out of the way. I’ve been known to make sure my couples stay hydrated and to ensure no attendants have their tags sticking out. What to Expect Once you book me, I will send you planning worksheets and arrange a walk-through of your venue with you. I'll help you and your partner develop a timeline that works for you, and fits your style as a couple. Your images will be delivered within 3-4 weeks, in a beautiful gallery which you can share. You can download images straight to your home computer or mobile device, or I can send you a customized USB drive. Payment A deposit of 50% will hold your date. The remainder will be due 30 days before your wedding. If the lump sum doesn't work with your budget, I offer payment plans using monthly or quarterly automatic withdrawals leading up to your event. Scheduling Wedding availability may be limited depending on the time of year. Please contact me with your dates and book as early as possible to secure your date. You have Questions.... Q: What sets you apart from other photographers? A: With years of training under my belt, I know how to pose and guide clients to make them feel relaxed while looking their very best. I use natural lighting as often as possible and make sure my sessions are intimate & fun! Q: Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding? A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release. Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding? A: All of our wedding collections come with a single photographer, but you are more than welcome to add a second shooter for an additional cost. Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media? A: I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. I’d love to show off you & your images, if you’re game! If not, that's okay, too. Q: Will our photos get featured in a magazine or blog? I have answers! Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc? A: Minor edits will be made to all of your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful & unique. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits. Q: Do I have to order prints through you? A: I highly recommend ordering prints through one of my professional vendors, but it isn't required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love to help with prints! Q: Do you photograph destination weddings? A: Yes! I’ve shot dozens of destination weddings and am more than happy to create a custom wedding collection to suit your travel needs. Q: Are the people featured on your site models? A: For the most part, no. While I am lucky enough to work with gorgeous clients, the majority of the images shown on my site and blog are of regular, paying clients. Q: How do we reserve our wedding date? A: A 50% deposit & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.
