Introduction • Photography and Graphic Design run a series of taster workshops for potential applicants • One of the sessions we run is to show students how to prepare and upload an online portfolio which can be viewed in the form of a flip book online • This means that students can add the link to their blog, to Facebook, or to their website or send it to potential interviewers or employers.

Uses and applications• Can be used to display a version of the course handbook to prospective students• Show course leaflet and information to prospective students• Gallery of student work from end of year assessment• Could be used for dissertation or other essay to make them more widely available.

Workflow• Make a Powerpoint Presentation of the selected content• Powerpoint is saved as a PDF document (File>Export>Save as PDF}• PDF is uploaded to an online book host (there are several free ones including ISSUU and PUBhtml5}
