EDITOR'S NOTE The exclusive digital magazine is equipped to add glaze and glamour for the beautifully baked projects in the district. We thrive to shed light on all the major events by keeping a balanced approach for every zone. It was a blockbuster beginning for the month with the zonal conference of zone - 3, which has been unanimously entered into the list of successful initiatives with an immense appreciation from everyone. Adding pride to the catalog of achievements, Rotaractors from RI District completed their All India Road Trip of 10,000 kilometers by covering 22 major cities in 40 days. An array of district projects have been initiated to conserve the pulse of Rotaractors. In addition, we are committed to encouraging Rotaractors and rendering a platform for exhibiting their skills. Although we strive to explore every nook and corner for providing the best output, a few errors may prevail which are human. We would love to review your suggestions for serving in a better way. Thanks & Regards, Rtr. Praharsha Reddy District Editor RIY 2021-22 RID 3020 1

The Visionary View 2

Rtn. T. L. N Murthy District Rotaract Committee Chair RI District 3020 1. You have been a Rotarian for more than 3 decades, what are some changes you have observed in Rotary now and then? Ans. It's a good indicator that more young people are joining Rotary and that the organization's image is improving. More Service initiatives are being planned and carried out. The Rotary Foundation has grown in popularity. The great celebration of polio eradication has come true. Steps and initiatives to expand membership have already begun. 2. Being a District Rotaract Committee Chair, what is your opinion regarding the ongoing Rota year? Ans. Rotaractors used to participate with zeal and enthusiasm in the past. Today, due to changes in various ways, it is difficult to see. However, given the current trend, they may be correct, since kids are consumed and surrounded by various activities in addition to their studies. 3

3. Since Rl has decided to collect the annual dues from Rotaractors effective from July 1st 2022, what are the strategies to be applied for sustaining the membership? Ans: It would undoubtedly be difficult due to the changes that will occur beginning in July 2022. Specifically, the Rotaractors' subscription. The present Rotaractors' survival may be jeopardized. However, because you paid for the membership, you will have a sense of duty. To keep them together, we will need to have regular sessions at Club Level, in which we will teach Rotaract ideas and instruct them. It is critical that they understand that Rotaract is not a service organization, but rather a training ground for them to shape and create themselves as leaders, not managers, with strong communication skills and a sense of thanks. 4. Both Rotary and Rotaract are going to become equal entities in the upcoming years. How Rotaractors can make maximum use of it? Ans: It's a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Rotary. The Rotaract Organization may carry out more programmes and activities with more authenticity with the assistance of the District Rotary Organization. They are now eligible for Global Grants via Rotary Clubs. Rotaract’s field of influence will grow, as will its feeling of service. 4

5. Finally, any message to our Rotaractors for becoming the future leaders Ans: Because we are all members of an International Service Organization, we must all operate with unity and integrity, leaving no room for personal igos and biases. Every member is equal. Leaders are those who remain at the forefront and lead rather than command. Rotaractors will need to investigate the Organization's prospects in order to mould themselves to be well-suited to society and community. They will have to establish their legitimacy as Rotaractors. They will be required to attend regular Club meetings and will be limited to Rotaract solely during that period. Fun and games come second. They will have to be very careful now that they will have dual membership with Rotary. Thank Praharsha very much for giving me this opportunity to share my thoughts. All the Best and God Bless You All. 5

Project RED Menstruation is a normal psychological process in women. But, it is considered as taboo in Indian society. There is a social stigma and misogynistic outlook that has been fabricated around the topic. It's our moral responsibility as socially conscious citizens to spread a word of awareness.
