Growth Management Like humans and animals, plants need both water and nutrients (food) to survive. Most all plants use water to carry moisture and nutrients back and forth between the roots and leaves. Water, as well as nutrients, is normally taken up through the roots from the soil. This is why it’s important to water plants when the soil becomes dry. Fertilizer also provides plants with nutrients and is usually given to plants when watering. The most important nutrients for plants growing needs are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Nitrogen is necessary for making green leaves, phosphorus is needed for making big owers and strong roots, and potassium helps the plants ght off disease. Pest / insect Management One bug does not make a problem! In nature, there are always some garden pests chewing on plants; that’s just the way it is. However, not all pest damage is signi cant enough to warrant action. Even the healthiest gardens encounter bugs at one time or another, yet they still produce a beautiful harvest. As gardeners, we must each consider the level of pest activity that we are willing to tolerate. The best way to maintain a healthy garden is to educate yourself and learn to identify common “bad bugs.” Inspect your garden regularly to detect problems early. The sooner a pest is identi ed the easier it will be to manage using earth-friendly methods. Soil Management Organic soil is rich in humus, the end result of decaying materials such as leaves, grass clippings and compost. It holds moisture, but drains well. Good organic garden soil is loose and uffy — lled with air that plant roots need — and it has plenty of minerals essential for vigorous plant growth. Soil Management Of the 17 or so elements thought to be essential for plant growth, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are the most important (see What’s in a Number?). They are known as prima- ry or macronutrients because plants take them from the soil in the largest amounts. Fertilizers that contain all three of these nutrients are labeled complete fertilizers, but they are hardly complete in an absolute sense. Calcium, magnesium and sulfur, known as secondary nutrients, are also important to many plants. Lesser or micronutrients include boron, copper, iron manganese and zinc. Some plant micronutrients have speci c functions such as cobalt, which isn’t used by most plants but helps legumes x nitrogen. Another critical component of your soil is its acid-alkaline balance or pH reading. All these essen- tials — and the proper texture — makes for healthy soil. l An ideal flower plant food for roses and other flowers. l It supplies all essential nutrients for rose plants and other plants. l Available in 250gm, 500gm & 1kg. l It plays a vital role in getting better yield l Increased soil aeration from the desired crop. l Improved water holding l Reduced soil erosion l Activates beneficial microbes in the soil, l Available in 250gm, improves aeration and improves the water holding capacity of soil. 500 & 1kg l Application of bioenzyme granules l Increased soil aeration reduces the flower and fruit drop yield l Improved water holding and increases production. l Reduced soil erosion l Reduced insects infected diseases l Develops resistance against pest and l Promotes uptake of nutrients diseases among the plants. l Accelerates cell division l Available in 250gm, 500gm & 1kg l Available in 1kg
Soil Management Adding compost will improve almost any soil. The texture of silty and clay soils, not to mention their nutrient levels, are radically improved from initially having the compost mixed in. All soils get better with annual applications on top. Organic compost can be purchased by the bag or by the yard, or you can make it yourself at home. Compost and other organic materials hold soil particles together in aggregates and help to retain moisture. They also absorb and store nutrients that are then available to plants, and compost is a food source for bene cial microorganisms. l Oncrop Pot fill is rich in all essential nutrient l It is a very good conditioner and it can retain moisture up to eight times of its volume. l The structure of potting mix is also useful for the soil conditioning and the mixture is having a slow degradation rate so that it is used in the growth of the plants. l Oncrop pot fill holds and released nutrients in solution over extended periods without rewatering. l It has got great oxygenation properties which helps for healthy root development. l It contains air porosity and it helps the plant to have strong roots. l Oncrop Pot fill supplies a suitable mineral balance, improves nutrient availability and could act as complex-fertilizer. l Oncrop potting mix free from pathogens, toxic elements, weed seeds etc. Pot size (inches) and required pot fill (Kgs) 4\" pot 380-400 gm 14\" pot 21.2 5-6\" pot 760 gm 16\" pot 30.4 kg 7-8\" pot 3 kg 18\" pot 45.6 kg 8.5\" pot 6 kg 24\" pot 76 kg 10\" pot 9.1kg 30\" pot 91.2kg 12\" pot 15.2 kg
Diesase Management Blight. Rust. Fusarium wilt. Botrytis. Smut. Scab. The names we give to plant diseases sound unpleasant and downright ominous. But then so are their consequences; they can appear suddenly and may severely weaken or kill a plant within days. Plant diseases can be caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses or nematodes. These pathogens may be soil borne, water- borne, carried through the air, or transmitted by insects. In most cases, wet, humid weather encourages both the rate of infection and the spread of disease. l Organic powder fungicide to safeguard the plants from various fungal and bacterial diseases l Targets diseases like Blast, Anthracnose, Powdery mildew, Downey mildew effecting all vegetables and flowers. l Available in 50gm, 100gm, 200gm, 500gm & 1kg packs.

Seeds - Flowers ALYSSUM CALENDULA A seed is an embryonic plant enclosed ANTIRRHINUM ASTER in a protective outer covering. The CARNATION CELEOSIA CRISTATA AMIGO formation of the seed is part of the process of reproduction in seed plants, the spermatophytes, including the gymnosperm and angiosperm plants. Seeds have been an important development in the reproduction and success of gymnosperm and angio- sperm plants, relative to more primitive plants such as ferns, mosses and liverworts, which do not have seeds and use water-dependent means to propagate themselves. Seed plants now dominate biological niches on land, from forests to grasslands both in hot and cold climates.
Seeds - Flowers CHIVES COSMOS Angiosperm ( owering plants) seeds DAISY GAZANIA consist of three genetically distinct MOON FLOWER OREGANO constituents: (1) the embryo formed from the zygote, (2) the endosperm, which is normally triploid, (3) the seed coat from tissue derived from the maternal tissue of the ovule. In angio- sperms, the process of seed develop- ment begins with double fertilization, which involves the fusion of two male gametes with the egg cell and the central cell to form the primary endosperm and the zygote. Right after fertilization, the zygote is mostly inactive, but the primary endosperm divides rapidly to form the endosperm tissue. This tissue becomes the food the young plant will consume until the roots have developed after germination. VERBENA
Seeds - Herbs AMARANTHUS SPINACH BASIL Seeds have been considered to occur MENTHI SPINACH PALAK/SPINACH in many structurally different types (Martin 1946).[7] These are based on a number of criteria, of which the dominant one is the embryo-to-seed size ratio. This re ects the degree to which the developing cotyledons absorb the nutrients of the endosperm, and thus obliterate it.[7] Six types occur amongst the monocot- yledons, ten in the dicotyledons, and two in the gymnosperms (linear and spatulate).[8] This classi cation is based on three characteristics: embryo morphology, amount of endosperm and the position of the embryo relative to the endosperm. CORIANDER
Seeds - Vegetables BABY CORN BEETROOT Seeds are very diverse in size. The BITTER GOURD BOTTLE GOURD dust-like orchid seeds are the smallest, with about one million seeds per gram; they are often embryonic seeds with immature embryos and no signi cant energy reserves. Plants that produce smaller seeds can generate many more seeds per ower, while plants with larger seeds invest more resources into those seeds and normally produce fewer seeds. Small seeds are quicker to ripen and can be dispersed sooner, so fall blooming plants often have small seeds. Many annual plants produce great quantities of smaller seeds; this helps to ensure at least a few will end in a favorable place for growth. BHENDI BRINJAL GREEN LONG
Seeds - Vegetables BRINJAL GREEN ROUND BRINJAL VIOLET Seeds serve several functions for the CAPSICUM CARROT plants that produce them. Key among CABBAGE CAULIFLOWER these functions are nourishment of the embryo, dispersal to a new location, and dormancy during unfavorable conditions. Seeds fundamentally are means of reproduction, and most seeds are the product of sexual reproduction which produces a remixing of genetic material and phenotype variability on which natural selection acts. Seeds protect and nourish the embryo or young plant. They usually give a seedling a faster start than a sporeling from a spore, because of the larger food reserves in the seed and the multicellularity of the enclosed embryo.
Seeds - Vegetables CHILLI CHINESE CABBAGE Seed germination is a process by COW PEA CUCUMBER which a seed embryo develops into a CLUSTER BEANS DOLICHOS seedling. It involves the reactivation of the metabolic pathways that lead to growth and the emergence of the radicle or seed root and plumule or shoot. The emergence of the seedling above the soil surface is the next phase of the plant's growth and is called seedling establishment. Three fundamental conditions must exist before germination can occur. (1) The embryo must be alive, called seed viability. (2) Any dormancy require- ments that prevent germination must be overcome. (3) The proper environ- mental conditions must exist for germination.
Seeds - Vegetables DRUM STICK FRENCH BEANS In order for the seed coat to split, the KNOLKOL OKRA embryo must imbibe (soak up water), GREEN PEAS ONION which causes it to swell, splitting the seed coat. However, the nature of the seed coat determines how rapidly water can penetrate and subsequently initiate germination. The rate of imbibi- tion is dependent on the permeability of the seed coat, amount of water in the environment and the area of contact the seed has to the source of water. For some seeds, imbibing too much water too quickly can kill the seed. For some seeds, once water is imbibed the germination process cannot be stopped, and drying then becomes fatal. Other seeds can imbibe and lose water a few times without causing ill effects, but drying can cause secondary dormancy.
Seeds - Vegetables RADISH RIDGE GOURD Unlike animals, plants are limited in TOMATO YARD LONG BEAN their ability to seek out favorable conditions for life and growth. As a result, plants have evolved many ways to disperse their offspring by dispers- ing their seeds (see also vegetative reproduction). A seed must somehow \"arrive\" at a location and be there at a time favorable for germination and growth. When the fruits open and release their seeds in a regular way, it is called dehiscent, which is often distinctive for related groups of plants; these fruits include capsules, follicles, legumes, silicles and siliques. When fruits do not open and release their seeds in a regular fashion, they are called indehiscent, which include the fruits achenes, caryopsis, nuts, samaras, and utricles. SNAKE GOURD WATER MELON
