INTRODUCTION You have learnt to draw, color and paint using Tux Paint program in class 2. Now, we learn advance in Tux Paint. Starting TUX Paint Step-1 : Double click in the shortcut icon of Tux paint from desktop. or Step-1 : Type Tux paint in Search box. Step-2 : You get two options of Tux paint App., one is Full Screen and another is windowed view. Step-3 : Double click on any one option. Step-4 : After few seconds or pressing Enter key, You get the first Screen of Tux Paint as given: Drawing Canvas Selector Toolbar Help Panel Color Palate STAMP TOOL This Tool is as like as a rubber stamp. This Tool is used to paste ready-made image, for example: car, tree, animals, birds, earth, instruments, etc. on the drawing area. Do the following steps to use the Stamp Tool: Steps to Follow: Step-1 : Click the 'Stamp Tool' on Toolbar. You get a list of stamps on the right hand side of the selector panel. Step-2 : Use the left and right arrow button to get varieties of stamps such as plants, animals, vehicles, birds, etc. Step-3 : Click on a desired stamp and move the mouse around the drawing area. Trick & TIPS You can place multiple images of the same stamp on your canvas. To stop, click the any other stamp or tool. • Sound Tool is located just lower the left corner . It is used to replay the sound effects or descriptive sound. • If you want to disable sound effects, press Alt+S from the keyboard. • Some stamp can or can not be colored. If the color pallet appears below the drawing area when you select the stamp, you can click the desired color to change the color of the stamp. If color pallet is not displayed, you can not change the color. CREATING STORY BOARD Storyboard is a series of pictures placed in the proper order that tells a story. Create the First Picture: Step-1 : Start the Tux Paint Step-2 : Click 'New' Tool. Varieties of background colors will appear. Step-3 : Select the light green background and Press Enter key or click the 'Open' button. Step-4 : Select suitable pictures using Stamp Tool, set in required size, change the direction and place the image in right place of the Canvas.
