RAINBOW CLASS VI LESSON – 2 SHARING AND CARING There were two friends in a forest, a mango tree and a banyan tree. एक िगं ल में दो दो्त थे, एक आम का पडे और एक िरगद का पेड। They talked to each other and enjoyed all day long. वो दोनों परू ा टदन एक दिू रे िे िातंे करते थे। Every night lions and tigers used to sleep under them. हर रात शरे और िाघ उनके नीचे िोते थ।े The mango tree used to hate animals. \"I will drive them away, they roar loudly, and smell bad,\" he said. आम का पडे िानवरों िे नफरत करता था। \"मैं उन्हंे दरू भगाऊँ गा, वे ज़ोर िे दहाडते हैं और उनमे िे िदिू आती है,\" उिने कहा The banyan tree said, \"Don't be so rude. We trees and animals need each other. He was not ready to listen to him. आम का पेड अडडयल था। वह उिकी िात िनु ने को तैयार नहीं था। That night when the animals were sleeping under the tree, the mango tree shook its branches and made loud noises. उि रात िि िानवर पेड के नीचे िो रहे थे, आम के पेड ने अपनी शाखाओं को ज़ोर ज़ोर िे टहलाकर खिू शोर मचाया। The animals thought it was a demon and ran away. िानवरों ने िोचा र्क कोई राक्षि आया है और वो डर कर वहाँ िे भाग गए। The mango tree laughed and felt happy. आम का पेड िानवरों पर हँिा और अपनी िफलता पर िहुत खशु हुआ। The next evening two woodcutters came to the forest. अगली शाम दो लकडहारे िंगल में आए। They had axes in their hands. उनके हाथों मंे कु टहाडडयाँ थीं। They saw the big mango tree and became very happy. वे दोनों आम के िडे पेड को देखकर िहुत खुश हुए। One of the woodcutters said, \"Friend, look what a big tree it is!\" UP BOARD CLASS VI RAINBOW TRANSLATION

RAINBOW CLASS VI LESSON – 3 THE MAGIC SHOW Karishma is a cute little village girl. कररश्मा गाँव की एक प्यारी िी लडकी है। She lives with her grandparents in a small village named Dholakpur. वह िोलकपरु नामक एक छोटे िे गाँव में अपने दादा-दादी के िाथ रहती है। She loves her granny very much. वह अपनी दादी िे िहुत प्यार करती है। Once, her loving granny takes her to the nearby city, Ghazipur, to watch a magic show. एक िार, उिकी प्यारी दादी उिे िादू टदखाने के सलए पाि के शहर ग़ाज़ीपरु ले िाती हंै। (They enter the hall.) RAINBOW CLASS VI LESSON – 4 THE DONKEY AND THE DOG A washerman had a donkey and a dog. एक धोिी के पाि एक गधा और एक कु त्ता था। Every morning he used to go to the river to wash clothes. हर ििु ह वह कपडे धोने के सलए नदी पर िाता था। The donkey used to carry the load of clothes. गधा कपडो का गट्ठर लाद कर चलता था। He used to live in a shed outside the master's house and the dog used to stay inside the house the whole day long. गधा अपने मा्टर के घर के िाहर एक शडे मंे रहता था और कु त्ता टदन भर घर के अंदर ही रहता था। In the evening the dog used to feel happy to see his master. शाम को कु त्ता अपने मासलक को देखकर िहुत खुश होता था। He used to lick his master and jump on him. वह अपने मासलक को प्यार िे चाटता और उि पर कू दता था। The master used to lift the dog in his arms and take him inside the house. मा्टर कु त्ते को प्यार िे गोद में उठाकर घर के अंदर ले िाता था। Seeing this, the donkey also wanted to live in the house. यह देखकर गधा भी घर में रहना चाहता था। \"May be, if I also jump on him like the dog, he will surely lift me too in his arms and carry me inside the house,\" the donkey thought. गधे ने िोचा, \"हो िकता है, अगर मैं भी कु त्ते की तरह मा्टर पर कू दता हूँ, तो वो मझु े भी अपनी िाहों मंे ऐिे ही उठा कर मझु े घर के अंदर ले िाए\"। The next evening, the donkey went inside the house. अगली शाम, गधा घर के अंदर चला गया। He jumped on his master and began to lick him. वह अपने मासलक पर कू द, उिे चाटने लगता है। The master did not lift the donkey. मा्टर ने गधे को गोद में नहीं उठाया। He took him to the shed. वह उिे शडे में ले गया। Patting the donkey, the master said to him \"You are not like the dog.
