Infant School End of Year Report - 2020/2021 K1 Child’s Name: Rafael Vincente Pera Queiros DOB: 20 November 2015 Class Teacher: Belinda Robinson Class: K1BRo Child As A Learner It has been a pleasure having Rafael in K1BRo this year. Rafael is always happy and excited to be at school each day. He is curious about new learning experiences and engages with energy and enthusiasm. Rafael loves to interact with his classmates and is very social. He can often be found constructing using a variety of materials, from building with train tracks, to houses using the magnatiles, and vehicles using the mobilo. He is learning to work collaboratively with others and problem solve when navigating social situations as disagreements arise. Rafael loves to be a scientist and researcher. Recently, he has been fascinated by the ice experiments we have been conducting in the classroom. He has enjoyed exploring the ice and discovering different ways that we can melt it. Rafael is creative and he has recently discovered the magnatile manual which he loves to explore and be guided by new inspirations of things to make. He is so proud of his accomplishments when he completes a model from the book. Rafael combines his skills of imagination, creativity and storytelling to create elaborate and detailed stories about sculptures that he is building or artwork that he has created. Rafael is learning to be a respectful listener and follow instructions when asked. This continues to be an area of growth for Rafael. I wish Rafael all the very best as he ventures up the stairs to K2 next year. Self Reflection INFANT SCHOOL Here are the skills and qualities I think I have had the most growth in this year. They have begun learning about rhythm, reading and notating using graphic notation. Students have also been learning about patterns in music and using cues to perform music collaboratively.
