Got the opportunity to meet RI President and other important RI officers and took photographs with them. The participation is a mixture of senior and junior members and all thoroughly enjoyed the friendship & fellowship while enriching their Rotary knowledge. After President’s opening remarks, Rtn. M.B.V.N.N. Suryalakshmi & Rtn. J. Kalyana Chakravarthi spoke on the highlights of RIPC held at Hyderabad. Later PDG R.K. Jain addressed the club on DGND elections. He thanked allt he members for the support and recollected his election time as DG. Senior and other members of bout 16 nos. expressed their happiness and congratulated Rtn. Dr. M. Venkateswara Rao on his election as Dist. Training Assembly Prayer was recited by Rtn. N. Matrusri. After President’s opening remarks, Rtn. Dr. Radhika Rani was honoured with a boquet on her recent award by A.P. State Government. Later Rtn. D. Balaji spoke on RIPC highlights. PDG R.K. Jain highlighted of the club projects. Rtn. Patil lighted the jyothi to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Blood Bank. Rtn. Dr. M. Venkateswara Rao was introduced by Rtn. J. Kalyan Chakravarthy. The new team of the Rotary Club of Vizianagaram Fort was introduced by Rtn. Manda Ravi Kishore and they were installed by the Installing Officer DGND Rtn. Dr. M. Venkateswara Rao. Rtn. Manda Ravi Kishore was pro- posed as DGNC member on behalf of our club for 2022-23 and the same was approved by all in chorus. Rtn. M. Sudhakar introduced the chief guest Smt. Deepika M. Patil, IPS in an im- pressive manner. In her address, she appreciated the activities and projects of the club and expressed her happiness of the women members and involvement of all members in the smooth running of the club. She was suprised to note that our club was running successfully from 1957. She appreciated all the past presidents and the team. Finally she voluntarily expressed to support from their police department for conducting a Blood Donation Camp. A memento of loveand affection on behalf of our Club was presented to her. President has delivered his opening remarks after self introduction of the members. Rtn. V. Chandra Sekhar Rao introduced the Speaker with nice words. The speaker being an educationist spoke on the subject with ease. She has a clear idea on the subject and suggested many tips on bridging the gap between youth and parents. Jain and DGND Dr. M. Venkateswara Rao enlightened the members on the importance of donation to RF. Rtn. M.V.S.S.S. Bhagavan invited the members for the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Thotapalem as it got renovated. Rtn. G. Veerabhadra Rao invited for Gruhapravesam of his shopping complex. Rtn. Dr. Radhika Rani introducted the speaker. The speaker Dr. D. Gopichand thanked the Club for the opportunity given to address and appreciated of the projects. Gangadhar Rao, Yoga Master Prayer was recited by Rtn. M.V. Chalam. Rtn. G. Vishnu Murthy acted as President and wel- comed the members and the Yoga master. Sri J. Gangadhar Rao enlighted the members of the advantages of yoga in ones life. He advised all to practice yoga under the guidance of a Guru. He stressed on the yoga exercises pertaining to breathing and made all the members to do the same. Rtn. Dr. M. Padma Kumari spoke on the connection of yoga in science while Rtn. DGND Dr. M. Venkateswara Rao spoke on why should perform yoga. Yoga guru was felici- tated with a shawl and was presented a memento. POOJA AT ROTARY DNR SCHOOL OF ARTS Date : 22-6-2022 There used to be a Dwaram Narasinga Rao Memorial Music School at the upstairs of Rotary Community Hall. The whole building was constructed with two floors accomodating 1st floor with Blood Bank and 2nd floor for the same besides the offices and a hall for utilisation. A pooja was performed by the President Elect couple Rtn. D. Uma Balaji and Rtn. D. Balaji. Soon the same will be inaugurated and will start functioning. Page # 2

Arun Kulkarni, Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda Guest of Honour : Smt. Ashwini Kulkarni, Educationist, Korukonda The colourful function started with welcome dance by the Interactors. Self introduction was done and the guests were recognised. President gave his welcome address and thanked all for their presence of such number. Secretary read his report of activities which our club have carried out through out the year in nutshell. 13 rice bags were donated to Attada Ashram at the suggestion of Sri Bheesetti Babji garu. President presented nice mementoes to all the mem- bers and thanked his Board for the excellent support and co-operation extended to him in the smooth running of the club with so many activities. He said that he never expected that his year will be so great that DG was produced, 70 benches were installed and 2 RO plants were inaugurated, so much was contributed to RF and Polio fund. All the members gave him staning ovation. Chief guest Col. Arun Kulkarni in his speech expresed his happiness to attend and shared his thoughts and connections with Rotary.
