Wan Fam Clothing Store Wan Fam is an urban fashion store currently based in Nairobi. The brand was a concept developed by two brothers. CLASSIC VEGAN FALAFEL

Ingredients Lavington Inside Out | Feb 2020 • 1 cup dried chickpeas • 1 large onion (chopped) • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped) • 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley (chopped) • 1 teaspoon coriander • 1 teaspoon cumin • 2 tablespoons flour • Peper to taste Directions 1. Place dried chickpeas in a bowl, covering with cold water. Allow to soak overnight. Drain chickpeas, and place in pan with fresh water, and bring to a boil. 2. Allow boiling for 5 minutes, then let simmer on low for about an hour. 3. Drain and allow cooling for 15 minutes. 4. Combine chickpeas, garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper (to taste) in medium bowl. Add flour. Mash chickpeas, ensuring to mix ingredients together. You want the result to be a thick paste. 45

Easy Skillet INGREDIENTS Lasagna • 1 pound ground Italian sausage • 2 14 ounce cans tomato sauce • 1-14 ounce can diced tomato • 1/2 yellow onion diced • 3 garlic cloves minced • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper • 3/4 pound lasagna noodles (broken) • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Toppings • Mozzarella cheese • Ricotta cheese • fresh parsley DIRECTIONS 1. Add the ground sausage to a large skillet and cook over medium heat while stirring. Once the sausage is mostly cooked add the diced onion to cook. 2. When the onion is translucent and soft and sausage is cooked through add the minced garlic. Cook for an additional 30 seconds. 3. Add the tomato sauce and diced tomato to the skillet. Stir to GO combine. 4. Add seasonings and stir. Break the lasagna noodles over the skillet and add to the sauce. Press the noodles down as much as possible into the sauce. Cover the pan and allow to simmer over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally. 5. Once the noodles are softened add in a cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir to combine. 6.
