Spring 2 Reading Newsletter 2022

We have had a very busy month in school in the world of reading. The children all enjoyed World Book Day and a big well done to all of the ‘potato book characters’. Here are a few of the potatoes from the day.

Author of the Year—Tom Percival Our ‘Author of the Year’ this year is Tom Percival and we were extremely lucky to have a virtual visit with Tom earlier this month. As a whole school, we have been reading some of his books and each class thought of questions they would like to ask him. Our Reading Champions from each class asked Tom the questions and he even gave us our very own drawing lesson!
