To ensure the safety and protection of our CAMmunity, the school's Covid- 19 DRRM Team will facilitate the measures that are needed to ensure that the health and safety protocols are properly implemented. Objectives • To establish organization, responsibility, and control in all areas. • To establish medical and security emergency assistance. • To develop health and safety awareness among employees, students, and the whole CAMmunity. • To specify the action to be undertaken during the actual occurrence of an emergency in order to avoid panic.

Before coming to school, the students must fill out a health declaration and contact tracing form at home. The school nurse and admin staff will closely monitor the submitted forms. Students with fever, cough or colds should not be sent to school. Parents must notify the school if there are suspected cases of covid or flu-like symptoms in their children prior to going to school. We discourage going to other places after school to minimize exposure outside and decrease risk. 4

CAM has established a new school traffic management system to ensure safe entrance and exit among students, teachers, school personnel, and staff. The Edison St. gate will be the drop-off point and will be the main entrance of the school. 5

While the Pasteur St. gate will serve as the pick-up point and the main exit of the school. Floor markers are also made available in hallways to direct the flow of school traffic. 6

Students are required to arrive 15 minutes before the start of their classes for health monitoring procedures such as sanitizing and temperature checking. If the student’s temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius or below, the student may directly enter the school, but if his/her temperature is above 37.5 degrees Celsius, he/she must stay in the holding area for 15 mins for monitoring. Only one person will be allowed at a time to enter or exit. Must step on the foot sanitation mat upon entering the school. Every person will go through a temperature check and hand sanitizing before entering and exiting the school. 7

Only students with scheduled classes/activities will be allowed to enter the school premises. Parents, guardians, and helpers are discouraged to stay in school. Students will go straight to the wash area for mandatory hand washing before going to the classroom. Hand washing will be practiced several times within the period of the class. Wearing of face mask is mandatory. Maintain social distancing of 1 meter apart. 8

For good ventilation and air-conditioning system, an exhaust fan, electric fans, and high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are installed in the rooms. Regular sanitation and disinfection of school facilities, furniture, and equipment will be implemented. Classrooms will be regularly sanitized and disinfected after the end of the school shift. Proper disposal of used tissues and masks will be strictly implemented. 9

Snacks will be eaten inside the classrooms. Hand washing and hand sanitizing will be practiced as often as necessary. Parents may also opt to have their kids bring their own plates, water bottle, and utensils. No sharing of utensils with classmates. Proper disposal of garbage will be strictly implemented to maintain the cleanliness of classrooms. 10

Follow social distancing markers in queuing during washing of hands and brushing of teeth. The students are tasked to bring with them their hygiene kits. This contains alcohol or hand sanitizer, tissue, extra face masks, and hand washes gel or liquid. Hygiene kits will not be left in the school anymore. One student per sink will be observed. Disposable paper towels will be used for drying hands. 11

Children will be dismissed one at a time in 2 minutes intervals. Follow arrow markers for one-way lanes and social distancing markers for entrance and exit queues. Every student will go through a temperature check and hand sanitizing prior to leaving the room. To limit human interaction, parents, guardians, helpers, and authorized fetchers must pick up their child by the school’s exit area at the specified time. We discourage waiting to prevent the gathering of crowds. Be on time for picking up and immediately go straight home after. 12

The play time per class will be scheduled separately or may be assigned in different play stations if scheduled at the same time. Teachers or teacher aids will strictly monitor limited physical interaction or maintain a safe distance from kids while playing. Play equipment will be sanitized by teacher aids every after-play time. The use of the playground will only be allowed during the specified playtime. 13

Transactions can be done online or onsite on Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The school office will attend to inquiries and parent concerns via phone, email, or website. All school announcements, updates, and other correspondences will be disseminated via email, Viber, and/or Brightspace. All school personnel and visitors will maintain social distancing and comply with all safety protocols while inside the school. 14

Should there be cases or suspected cases of COVID 19, CAM has designated rooms for isolation for those students and personnel who have shown fever and flu-like symptoms. Family members/guardians of students and personnel will be directly notified using the data from the contact tracing system. The group/level with a confirmed case of Covid 19 will continue classes online for at least 2 weeks. Medical Clearance should be presented to the school by the student/personnel who have completed the 14-day isolation after a Covid diagnosis. 15

Only those persons who are properly identified and have a legitimate purpose for entering the school premises will be allowed entry. Parents, helpers, visitors, and the like, bringing and fetching students to-and-from school shall be allowed access only to designated areas. Only parents/visitors with a confirmed appointment will be allowed in school. They must fill out a health declaration and contact tracing. The movement of students, personnel, and regular patrons within the school campus shall be restricted to those places where they are authorized to enter and only when they have a legitimate purpose for being there. Off-limit Areas The academic areas are considered restricted. Access to these places has to be pre-approved by the office. Administration Offices and the Principal's office are off-limit areas. Only legitimate transactions are allowed within these areas. 16
