Santhome Waves 95 Br. David Chirackal Date of Ordination: 21st November 2020 Venue : St. Antony's Church Edakkunnu Time : 9:30 am “ To be faithful to prayer life and take life seriously “ Bro. David was born at Edakkunnu, Angamaly on 30th July 1992. He is the first child of Antony and Pyary. He had a sister, who passed away 10 years ago. He had his primary education at Sree Sankara and MAMHS Schools. He joined Star Jesus High School, Karukutty for high school studies. After the 10th Standard he joined the Capuchin Order in 2008. He made his simple Profession on 15th May 2013; and the final Commitment on 7 may 2019. Br. David was inspired by the simple life of Francis who went about like a free bird singing the glories of God. He is simple but strong in faith, silent in prayer for most of the time but powerful in delivering sermons. He makes cent percent commitment in his religious life. He is always ready to help anyone in need his vibrant presence makes the community more dynamic. Dear brother David we wish you a successful priestly life so that your dreams may come true. We pray that God’s abundant blessings be upon you always.

96 Santhome Waves Br. Vinthosh K V Date of Ordination: 24th November 2020 Venue : St. Joseph’s Church, Ponnukkara Time : 9:00 am \"He must increase but I must decrease\" Br. Vinthosh was born as the eldest son of Varkey and Sherly in Karrottuparakkal family at Ponnukara in Thrissur. He has one brother and two sisters. After his +2 he joined the capuchin Order. Brother Vinthosh is simple by nature and honest to the life that he is chosen. He is a man of prayer, contemplation, honesty and sincere dedication. He is a simple Franciscan friar who always moves with the habit. He always tries to live his Franciscan life more faithfully. He is always ready to help anyone in need. His Priestly Ordination and first Holy Qurbana will be on Tuesday 24th November 2020 at 9.00 am in St. Joseph church, Ponnukara in the Archeparchy of Thrissur. His Excellency mar Andrews Thazhathu will lead Br. Vinthosh to the sacred altar of the Lord. Brother Vinthosh at this graceful occasion we thank the Lord for your vocation. We wish you all success in your future life. We pray that you may be an instrument of His peace for generations.

Santhome Waves 97 Br. Sinson Parekkadan Date of Ordination: 24th November 2020 Venue : St. Xavier’s Church, S. Thanissery Time : 2:30 pm \"The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel\" \"Preach Gospel always, use words when necessary.\" These words of our Seraphic Father Francis is explicit in Br. Sinson Parekkadan. Br Sinson was born on October 1, 1988 into the Parekkadan family at South Thannissery and was baptized at St Xavier's Church in the diocese of Irinjalakkuda. He is the eldest of the two sons of Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Valsamma Thomas. Sinson joined the seminary after completing his degree studies. Br. Sinson is a very good and loving brother to all; he is really hardworking, not only in manual labour, but also in his studies and other responsibilities assigned. His sincerity and responsibility are noteworthy. There is no compromise with being sincere and honest. He is really a light to our province and Order in genral, and a good model to all friars. He is ever ready to learn, eager to perform, generous to share - these make him a sought- after friar. His life has enriched our lives in numerous ways. He is very kind, helpful, unassuming and easily approachable. He is a man of simple faith and accordingly he tries to live his spirited life in simplicity and joy. Br Sinson is very much appreciated for his theologically-sound and pastorally-relevant sermons; he delivers them with utmost simplicity, relating with the practical implications. The hard work he puts in to see fruit in preaching is praiseworthy. We extend you, Br Sinson, all happiness and prayers as you are going to be ordained as priest of Christ on 24 November at 2.30 pm by the laying of hands by Bp Pauly Kannookadan. All the best.

98 Santhome Waves Br. Paul George Date of Ordination: 28th December 2020 Venue : Little Flower Church, Varanad Time : 9:30 am \"To be wise as serpent and innocent as dove' Br. Paul was born on 2nd August 1993. His parents are Mr. George and Mrs. Mary. He has a brother. He did his studies at SNMGBHSS, Cherthala. Discerning his religious vocation, he joined the Capuchin Order in 2008. After the initiation course, Paul went for pre-novitiate at Portiuncula Ashram in Kattapana and novitiate at Loreto Ashram in Muvattupuzha and made his First profession on 15 May 2013. He did philosophy studies at Calvary Ashram, Thrissur and theology at Capuchin Vidyabhavan , Thellakom. Br. Paul is very much interested in holding discussions with others on varied topics. He updates information on relevant and current topics by his wide range of reading. He is a vibrant singer and musician. Yet he is very simple and a true Franciscan at heart. Br. Paul is a man who is very sensitive to the needs of others. He has a special interest and concern for the poor and the oppressed. He is a man of profound conviction and clear visions. Br. Paul, we wish you every success in your priestly life and the grace to actualize your religious aspirations. May God bless you abundantly.

Santhome Waves 99 Br. Sinto Arakkal Date of Ordination: 3rd January 2021 Venue : St. Mary’s Church, Perakam Time : 9.15 am \"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice\" Br Sinto was born on 23rd August 1987 as the youngest of three sons of A.P. Johny and Kochuthresia in the Arackal family in St Mary's church Perakom in the Arch eparchy of Thrissur. After his education he worked for sevenyears. Meanwhile he felt the call of the Lord and joined in the seminary in 2010. He completed his theological studies in St Ephrem's Theological College, Satna. Br. Sinto is synonymous with vibrance and enthusiasm. He is a committed religious with deep convictions and zeal for Christ that led him to the missions. He was never a detached observer or an idle bystander wherever his involvement was called for. He is hard working and daring. He is also talented in acting. His presence on the stage bursts the audience out into laugh. He has unique ways of presenting the message in his speeches. His lively presence reflects his constant relationship with the person of Jesus. The Priestly Ordination and the First Holy Qurbana of Br Sinto will be held on 3rd January 2021 at St Mary's Church Perakom at 9.15 am. His Excellency Mar Andrews Thazhath will officiate the ceremonies. Dear Br Sinto, as you are stepping towards the ministerial priesthood of our Lord,we rejoice with you and thank the Almighty for the gifts He has bestowed on you. May your life be an inspiration for others to live for Christ. Your very presence may evoke the love of God in the hearts of others. We pray that the Lord may grant you a deep faith, a bright and firm hope and a burning love which will ever increase in the course of your priestly life. Tijo Puchathalil Date of Ordination: 6th January 2021 Venue : St. Mary’s Forane Church, Pallippuram Time : 9.30 am \"To be with him and to be sent\" The art of living is the art of loving. This beautiful insight shines out in the life of our Br. Tijo Puchathalil, making him dear to everyone. And his charming face and ready laughter creates beauty and warmth to everyone who comes in contact with him. Br. Tijo was born on august- 14, 1987 at Pullipuram, Cherthala. His devoted parents- Kuruvila Joseph, Annama Kuruvila- implanted deep faith in him, which made it possible to receive the spark of divine call. He has one elder brother and one elder sister. As he completed his B. Com studies from Naipunya School of Management, Cherthala, he felt an intense desire to be a capuchin, and he joined the minor seminary at Elinjipra. From his early minor seminary formation, he has been serious about imbibing authentic Franciscan charism. Br. Tijo is a gifted with many talents, has a clear vision and dream about his capuchin vocation. He is a man of prayer. His sportsman spirit, sense of humor, joviality and humaneness make him approachable and lovable. He has special interest in music and plays the guitar remarkably well. He completed his theological studies at St. Ephrem's Theological College, Satna. His generous option for mission bears out the total and unconditional surrender to the Lord \"to be with him and to be sent\". Dear Br. Tijo, as you are going to be ordained, we assure you of our prayers and well wishes. May our Heavenly Father shower his blessings upon you and strengthen you to be a true follower of the crucified Lord even amidst the struggles and difficulties.
