Pre-production is the process of planning some of the elements involved in a film, play, or other performance. There are three parts in a production: pre-production, production, and post-production. SEE TRUE COLORS Calibration by, Patrick-Carl Hebga The aim of color calibration is to measure and/ or adjust the color response of a device (input or output) to a known state. In International Color Consortium (ICC) terms, this is the basis for an addi- tional color characterization of the device and later profiling. In non-ICC workflows, calibration refers sometimes to establishing a known relationship to a standard color space in one go. The device that is to be calibrated is sometimes known as a calibration source; the color space that serves as a standard is sometimes known as a calibration target. Color cali- bration is a requirement for all devices taking an ac- tive part of a color-managed workflow, and is used by many industries, such as television production, gaming, photography, engineering, chemistry, medi- cine and more.Color calibration doesn’t matter if you’re using a cheap monitor or TV as your screen. It’s almost certainly incapable of displaying accurate colors no matter how much calibrating you do. ... One of the Greatest Thinkers of all time, Albert Ein- stein, The German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity once said: “every- thing is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” Every object on earth possesses what is called a natural frequency, which depends on its size, shape, and composition. This explains how a singer can shatter a glass by hit- ting a certain note, which does not happen because the singer’s voice has reached a particularly high pitch; rather, it is a matter of attaining the natural frequency of the glass. As a result, all the energy in the sound of the singer’s voice is transferred to the glass, and it shatters. 34 Universiv Studio by Patrick-Carl Hebga

Healy Frequency 2 - The Story Some aspects of frequency can only be perceived indirectly, yet people are conscious of them without even thinking about it: a favorite radio station, for instance, may have a frequency of 99.7 MHz, and fans of that station knows that every time they turn the FM dial to that position, the station’s signal will be there. Of course, people cannot “hear” radio and television frequencies—part of the electromagnetic spectrum—but the evidence for them is every- where. Similarly, people are not conscious, in any direct sense, of frequencies in sound and light—yet without differences in frequency, there could be no speech or music, nor would there be any vari- ations of color.
