PROGRAM OVERVIEW MBA in Business Analytics is a two-year full-time residential program aimed at creating business analytics professionals employable by leading Indian and foreign firms. The business analytics area makes use of sophisticated quantitative and statistical analysis and predictive modelling towards building competitive strategies around data-driven insights that in turn generate impressive business results. Recognizing this, BITS Pilani’s MBA in Business Analytics program integrates technology with statistical and quantitative modelling techniques to provide students with the foundation needed for data-driven decision making. The focus of the program will be on the application of analytics and technology in all the functional areas of management. SALIENT FEATURES  Proposed Certification Programs: Over the course of two years, it is planned to have the students obtain the following certifications – Design Thinking, Tableau, Advanced Excel, Bloomberg BMC certification etc.  Industrial Exposure: Students will undergo a 2-month summer internship at the end of the second-semester (optional) along with a 6-month internship/dissertation via BITS’s flagship Practice School Program in their final semester.  Exposure to Tools and Programming Languages: The graduates will be well-versed with R, Python SQL, advanced Excel and other statistical and analytical software.  International Exposure: BITS is currently in the process of leveraging its brand value to expedite tie-ups with a number of premier foreign universities for international exposure for the MBA students.  Faculty Input and Industrial Mentorship: Students will be taught by faculty members from BITS Pilani who are known to be among the best in their respective fields.
