CHLORINE FREE DETERGENT RANGE From the 1st of November 2020, Chlorine based detergents can no longer be purchased. Read the information provided within this booklet for a detailed list of alternative options.

Circodine CF (Powder) Wash Routine Morning after Milking 1. Rinse plant with 14 litres of cold water per unit 2. Mix 227 grams in 45 litres for cold washing and 180grms in 45 litres for hot washing. It is recommended that you hot wash once a day. This is enough for 5 units, for each additional unit add an extra 9 Litres of solution. The temperature of the hot wash should be 75°C. 3. Circulate solution through plant for 8-10 mins and drain to waste or hold for evening milking. 4. Rinse the plant with 14l of water/unit immediately after the wash cycle add Serpent at recommended rates. Evening: After Milking Repeat the morning routine using cold water Once/Twice a week use an Acid Descaler at the recommended rates using warm or cold water. Turbosan CF (Liqiud) Wash Routine Morning after Milking 1. Rinse plant with 14 litres of cold water per unit 2. Mix 450ml of Turbosan CF with 45 litres (10 gallons) of water if cold washing or alternatively 300ml for hot washing (75°C ). This is enough for 5 units, for each additional unit add an extra 9 Litres of solution. The temperature of the hot wash should be 75°C. 3. Circulate solution through plant for 8-10 mins and drain to waste. 4. Rinse the plant with 14l of water/unit immediately after the wash cycle add Serpent at recommended rates. Evening: After Milking Repeat the morning routine using cold water.

Turboclean CF (Powder) Wash Routine For Milking Machine Morning after Milking 1. Rinse plant with 14 litres of cold water per unit 2. Rinse plant with 14 litres of cold water per unit 2. Prepare solution at a rate of 400mls of AvalKsan Gold Standard CF in 45L of Hot Water (allowing approx. 9L of water per unit. Solution temperature must be minimum 75°C) 3. Circulate solution through plant for 8-10 mins and run to waste 4. Rinse the plant with minimum 14L of water/unit immediately after the 8-10min wash cycle, adding Serpent (5% Peracetic Acid) at recommended rates Evening: After Milking Repeat same wash routine as morning. AUTOMATED PLANT WASHERS 1. Use 400ml of AvalKsan Gold Standard CF per 45 litres of hot water morning and evening. 2. For optimum results, use hot water at a minimum temp 75°C. In hard water areas, increase dosage of AvalKsan Gold Standard CF to 425ml per 45 litres of water. 3. Alternate by using Acid Descaler once a week at a rate of 400ml per 45L of warm water both morning and evening. Bulk Tank Cleaning Where automatic dosing of detergents is fitted, please ensure dosage of detergent/acid descaler is calibrated properly by the Refrigeration Engineer at a rate of 400mls/45L hot water at minimum temperature 75°C. Use 400ml of AvalKsan Gold Standard CF per 45 litres of hot water. Alternate AvalKsan Gold Standard CF with Acid Descaler every 3rd wash at recommended rates. i.e. 2x AvalKsan Gold Standard CF washes followed by 1x Acid Descaler.
