Week 1 Title: Schools plug in robot English teachers Author: Seoul Source: https://www.smh.com.au/technology/schools-plug-in-robot-english-teachers-20101228-19975.html Summary In South Korean city, they use almost 30 robots to teach in school. The robot can do everything like human such as speaking to student, reading a book, and dancing to music. This technology is benefit torural areas because they work by using remote control system andbenefit to some student. They told that they seemed like to love itbecause they may fell less nervous talking to robots than a realperson. My reaction/reflection: I can read smoothly and I can understand the article but there alsohave some unknown words. So, I searched the words on dictionaryand can understand all of article. I think this technology can be veryuseful. Students in remote areas can receive the same education astheir urban counterparts, and this technology can solve the shortageof teachers and shortages of equipment. Page 2 of 5
