Week 2 Title: Faulty warning system worries Phuket locals Author: SALINEE PRAB Source: http://www.nationmultimedia.com/detail/national/30355840 Summary From tsunami in 2004, local people in Phuket province realize thatthey must concern about warning sounds but now warning towers haveproblem about the sound volume sometime it’s so low because it wasburied by the sound of waves. So, they want the authorities to resolvethe problem because if the tsunami occurs they will escape in time. My reaction/reflection: I can read and understand this article because it easy tounderstand and don’t have complicate information even its have someunknown words but I can guess it by noticing the context clue. I think itis good topic because protection against natural disasters is should berealized and always prepared because when it happens it will make a lotof damage to human. Page 2 of 5
