EuroSchool, Airoli celebrated National Doctor’s Day on 1st of July, Thursday, 2021.

National Doctors' Day is celebrated on July 1st every year to honour the birth and death anniversary of great physician and second chief minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. We, at EuroSchool, Airoli celebrated this event by making our children aware of the life and the simple facts about doctors. This was done through a short video that was recorded by our Grade 1&2 children. The children learnt about the great efforts put in by the doctors and thus a sense of gratefulness was inculcated in them. The session ended by children being thankful for the round-the-clock service provided by these super-heroes.

As you walk with the Guru, you walk in the light of existence. Away from the darkness of ignorance ,you leave behind all the problems of your life and move towards the peak experiences of life. Gurupurnima is celebrated to express gratitude to our “Gurus”or Teachers”. EuroSchool,Airoli Grade 1 and 2 celebrated Gurupurnima where the students were enlightened to the fact about turning knowledge into action at the right time,in the right situation and ability to apply it to any given situation.







“Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future” World Conservation Day is observed all over the world on July 28 of every year. It is observed to create awareness about protecting and conserving natural resources. On this occasion, Grade 1 & 2 students of EuroSchool Airoli shared their contribution towards conserving nature. Students were asked to send photos, pictures and drawing that depicts their role in conserving resources like water, land, air and wild life. Students shared their creativity by using Google 3D to digitalize their pictures. They also added beautiful thoughts and slogan to express their concern towards nature. This gave them an opportunity to understand the factors affecting the nature and need to find the sustainable practices of conserving the same. They also learned about the role of nature that has an impact on human survival.

















Friendship is an important relation that one has throughout his/her life span. This time at EuroSchool Airoli Grade 1 & 2 students created an all together new bond with themselves. The theme of the day was “Friendship to oneself”. As it is rightly said you are your 1st best friend, students celebrated with an activity where they were asked to hold a mirror and talk one affirmative word or statement about themselves. Students learned how self affirmation is important in daily life and it helps to challenge and overcome negative thoughts. In this way they learned to value themselves as an individual and increased their confidence and self esteem by being friend to oneself.
