(20) Safety Inspection Note: Allow for enough space when performing a safety inspection and Parking Brake Inspection: the forklift cannot move or lift until the operator leaves the seat. Checking steps: 1. Forklift should be on stable and flat ground with parking brake lever locked. 2.Set the forward /backward switch to Neutral, starting switch to ON and lift the forks 4 inches off the ground. 3. Release the brake pedal and the accelerate pedal. 4. Set the forward/ backward switch to F or R. 5. Set the starting switch to start shift to check if the starter can work. 6. Close the starting switch. 4. Operation of the forklift (1) Only trained and certified operators should drive the forklift. (2) The operator should wear protective shoes, headwear, clothes and gloves, while operating the forklift. (3) Check all safety and alarm mechanism before driving. If damaged, operate only after repaired (4) Do not lift more than the allowed rating of the forklift. (5) Forks should be completely inserted below the load and evenly spaced. Do not lift load with a single fork. (6) Start the forklift, turn around, steer, brake and stop. Drive carefully when turning around on wet or slippery surfaces. (6) Tilt the mast backward, and lower when running. (7) Proceed carefully on ramps with more than a ten-degree incline, drive forward when going up the ramp, and reverse when going down the ramp. Do not turn, load or unload on ramps. (8) Observe bystanders, barriers or potholes during operation, also overhead spaces. (9) Do not stand on the forks or carry people on the forks. (10) Standing under the forklift and walking under the forklift is not allowed. (11) Operating the forklift out of the drive seat is not allowed. (12) When lifting the forks more than nine feet, observe an unstable load and take protective cover in the event of a falling load. (13) When using longer forks, tilt mast backwards as often as possible. The load should be conducted upward and backward within the minimum range. (14) Take caution when driving on planks or non solid flooring 21

(15) The driver should not be on the forklift and extinguish the generator when adding the fuel and don’ t lit fire when checking the battery or the position of the oil tank. (16) When operating the forklift empty, operate as if it was carrying a load. (17) Don’t carry unfixed or loose loads. (18) The forks should be in the lowered position, and the forklift left in neutral when parked. Turn off when leaving the forklift: Put the parking brake on when stopping on sloped or flat ground, Block tires for long term storage. (19) Don’t open the water tank lid when engine is hot. (20) The pressure of relief valve, the control valve and the steering unit have been set at the factory. Don’t adjust during operation to avoid destroying the hydraulic system or the hydraulic components due to the pressure being set too high. (11) Tire pressure should be set to the recommended level (22) Forklift noise at the operator seat is measured by pressure level while around the operator is measured by decibel levels. The noise at the operator seat is not more than 98dB, radiated noise is not more than l 14dB. Vibration passed on to operator is less than 5rn/s2 (23) In order to move extra-wide loads, extra-long forks may be used. Note that the loading capacity of the extra-long forks should comply with the loading curve. Within the standard loading criteria, its loading capacity should be equal to that of the standard forks, however the load center should be moved forward while loading, but do not use the tip of the forks to lift an object or attempt to move an object by pushing. Safety is of the utmost importance when driving. (24) Check the chain regularly in order to guarantee proper lubrication be- tween the chains: the degree of loosening and tightening of the left and right chain is the same. if the chain has been damaged in the process the values of chain distance may vary from the 2% of the standard volume (26) Operation rough surface, could result in driver fatigue, back pain etc. Operate forklift on even road or ground. (27) Do not remove the roll over protection cage, it is there to protect operators from falling objects. ROPS meets the safety standards. (28) Do not maintain the forklift at a high speed. (29) Do not attempt to dismantlement the forklift on your own, contact your dealer. (30) Only use recommended authorized parts . 22

(31) Disposal of any waste fluids properly. Waste liquid should be poured into approved container. Strictly abide by rules and regulations when disposing of any waste liquid or performing repairs on any part of the forklift which could poten- tially leak. (32) Repair the forklift in a timely manner at your servicing dealer. Except in some cases which are detailed in the manual can be repaired by yourself, please contact your servicing dealer for repairs. (33) Do not install attachments or modify, contact your servicing dealer. (34) Do not operate the forklift in windy conditions, wind may cause a load to become unbalanced and either fall from the forklift or tip the forklift. (35) Check the emission readings after maintenance. 5. Operating Cautions: (1) After operating the forklift for a period of time, avoid opening the rad cap till it cools down. Turn the radiator lid in a clockwise direction to firmly close. (2) With radiators that are filled with water only they can become frozen in cold weather. The radiator should be removed and washed in boiling soda water to eliminate the pollutants and sediments of the radiator. (3) Radiators using antifreeze liquid (model FD-2 minor 35), cannot be mixed with water. Use same type antifreeze liquid when adding due to leaking or evaporating. The antifreeze liquid can be used both in summer and winter and does not need to be changed for a year. (4) In different working conditions, dust can build up on the surface of the engine should be removed regularly with detergents or coompressed air or high-pressure water (the pressure is less than 4kg/ cm). 23

• Whenever possible, do not stop or park an LPG-powered forklift directly in sunlight. Cover it with a sheet highly recommendable. And make sure the vehicle is well ventilated. • Do not operate an LPG - powered forklift in presence of fire. • When operating or inspecting an LPG-powered forklift, post a large “FIRE HAZARD” sign and make sure that persons using fire do not approach to the vehicle. •. Remove the ignition key from an LPG - powered forklift before parking or storing it so that no unauthorized person can operate it. • Use only soap water or neutral detergent to check the vehicle for gas leak. Do not use any other fluid. • If the gas leak inspection must be performed at night with the help of a flash- light, turn the flashlight on far away from the vehicle and walk toward it. The flashlight might cause a spark when it is turned on and cause an accident. • If a gas leak is detected, immediately put out any fire, ventilate the area and keep the area in strictly fire free conditions. Then call a qualified dealer or service garage. • Store LPG tanks in a strictly free area having a gas detector at all times. • Have LPG tanks refilled only by an LPG gas filling station attendant? • Use LPG of an appropriate chemical composition according to the climate. In hot climates, use LPG with a relatively high butane content; in cold climates, use LPG with a relatively high propane content. INSPECTING AND SERVICING LPG-POWERED FORKLIFTS Inspect and service LPG-powered forklifts as written below. • Inspection before Starting Operation. • LPG gas leak check. • After the gas leak check is completed, wipe off the soap water or neutral deter- gent from wet parts. • If gas leak is detected, immediately put out any fire, ventilate the area and keep the area in a strictly fire free condition. Then call a qualified dealer or service garage. Caution Never perform LPG gas leak checks near fire. Make certain that there is no source of fire in the area throughout the gas leak check. Warning To avoid serious injury from fire or explosion, you must follow these rules; • Switch ignition and lights off. • Check for leaks only in well ventilated, approved areas. • No smoking, fire of flames allowed. • Brush soapy water on all joints, bubbles show leaks. 31

• Never use any other liquid, or any open flame for leak check. • Do not try to start engine until all gas smell is gone. • If any leakage is found, immediately report it to the supervisor for repairing it by a qualified mechanic or your dealer. The truck does not operate the truck. 1. Turn the LPG tank outflow valve counterclockwise to open it. 2. The pipe valve must be open too. 3. Set the engine switch to the ON position. 4.
