Eureka ! Patent Workflow Step 1. Ideas are generated and disclosed across FMR India as Invention Disclosures through the Eureka Portal, the ideators selects the patentability option as part of the IDQ disclosures Step 2. FMR India Review Board examines Invention Disclosures for business relevance and technical feasibility and are passed on to the next steps. Step 3. Vetted ideas are submitted to the Fidelity Patent Office. Step 4. Fidelity Patent Program & Fidelity Legal works with FMR India inventors to further describe the invention Step 5 . Fidelity Legal, working with outside counsel, files a patent application – patent rewards are paid out within 60 days of filing. Decisions about filing in multiple jurisdictions are made at this point. Step 6. Patent Issues (normally 3-5 years later)
