MARCH Monte Vista Village 2022 8865 E. Baseline Rd NEWSLETTER Mesa AZ 85209 480-833-2223 From the General Manager As we gear up for what is always one of the most exciting months to be in Arizona, there is plenty happening here at Monte Vista. While we stay clear of any triple digit temps, we continue to look for ways to improve Monte Vista, provide updates on our property enhancements and highlight all the exciting activities in store. As you may have noticed, we continue to be on track with the new entrance and exit gate construction. We have the walls with stucco being applied as well as the new iron gate in place. Both the Baseline Road and Steven Pollard Avenue entrances and exits will remain closed during this installation. Please remember that all resort traffic is directed to use the Ellsworth entrance. As a reminder, residents with their access badge may use the resi- dent lane but all visitors or residents without their badge must use the visitors lane. Your continued coopera- tion throughout this process is greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy the beautiful weather March brings. ~Brian Montalbano From the Activities Director And just like that its March! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun, BUT we’re not done yet! We still have an entire month jam packed with fun activities to keep you busy from Fat Tuesday, to cele- brating our 50th anniversary couples, Oh Canada, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, & The Alley Cats are all still coming up to entertain us, Pi Day, a 5k, Volunteer Appreciation, our Glow Party and so much more! We will have a coordinators meeting for the 2022-23 season on March 18th, and room reservations for next year will be ready beginning March 21st. We hope your time spent at Monte Vista this winter has been filled with fun & friendships . On a personal note, I would like to say THANK YOU to all of you that have been SO WELCOMING and kind my first year here at MV. Our entire Activities staff has had so much fun getting to know all of you, and we look forward to next year and doing it all again! If you live here full time, we are going to have a great summer with lots to keep us busy and cool! Thanks for a fantastic season!
